After seeing games two and three, I really think the Cyclone can take care of business vs Reading. The Royal definitely seem beatable. A good forecheck seems to restrict their offense and limit their shots on goal. Meanwhile, the Cyclone appear to be creating some nice offense in the Royal zone with some good cycling and lateral passing. They're also getting off a lot more shots than Reading. If they continue to fire away and create screens, I think they'll be in good shape.
On the other hand, the Cyclone need to value the puck a bit more. Reading is very opportunistic and takes advantage of the smallest mistake. By being a bit more judicious in their own zone, the Cyclone can cut down Reading's opportunities. O'Hanley's giveaway on Wednesday night was terrible egregious, so I hope they can clean that up.
Looking forward to evening the series tonight. |
