In the last six games:
Nov 13 vs Orlando: Up 2-1 in the third period and give up two goals and lose
Nov 9 vs Ft Wayne: Up 2-1 in the third period and give up two goals and lose
Nov 8 vs Kalmazoo: Up 5-2 in third period and give up two goals, get one and give up a third but win
Nov 3 vs Kalmazoo; Up 4-2 in the third period and give up two goals but win in SO
Nov 1 Vs Evansville: Win 7-0
Oct 30 vs Toledo: Up 3-1 in the third period and give up two goals. Win with a late goal
Thus In the five games not counting the Evansville laugher, we have scored 5 third period goals and given up TWELVE !!--all of which were given up after we were ahead at one point in the third period period and only one of which was into an empty net. For the whole year we have outscored the opposition 11-6 in the first period, 12-6 in the third, and been outscored 12-15 in the third. JUst awful and totally unacceptable.
This has to stop beginning Friday. |
