Could Madore's days in Cincinnati be numbered to maybe the end of the month or beginning of next month with Rinne's injury possibly being healed up?? Darling will be sent back down and Madore is non affiliated, chances are he could be issued walking orders unless someone else gets hurt, it would not be beneficial to have three goaltenders instead of another D man or good quality forward IMHO. |

He would bring a pretty good player in return I'd say. But we'll deal with those assumptions when the time comes because you know how injuries & especially call-ups go in the minor league hockey. |

Agree they wont keep three on the active roster but it is almost unheard of to trade a goalie in this league so my guess is they will release him with an understanding or IR him. |

I just read today that Rinne was still at least 2 weeks away from "heavy workloads." I'd venture he'd need another week or so to get back to game shape. A lot can happen in that time frame. For starters, Tim Thomas might break his walker again. Long story made short, you cross that bridge when you get there. Whatever the situation, I doubt he gets released; the only thing more valuable than a capable free agent dman is a capable free agent goalie. If there's roster space you hang onto him until you find the right deal to trade him. |
