| Just saw that Defenseman Teddy Ruth was recalled today and retired. We got D- Devon Krogh from Gwinnett (to complete the Embach trade I assume) |

Kind of odd for a 24 (25 in Feb) year old player to retire.
This leaves the 'Clones with 6 defensemen. Reed and Aronson were placed on reserve today as well. This is why I like hoarding defensemen. |

| Krogh is an OSU grad. Reed and Aronson will be big losses. Reed especially who is +16 in 22 games. |

Reed & Aronson can't be on reserve for long I wouldn't think (unless its injury related) because even with the new kid that gives us only 5 D men with those 2 on reserve for tomorrow nights game.
Rob Madore is on his way back too. |

I'm not sure about Aronson, but Reed got pretty banged up by that puck to the face last Saturday night. He was at the season ticket holder skate in street clothes and I know he got plenty of stitches inside and outside of his mouth.
It's not uncommon for teams to skate with 5 defensemen in the ECHL, although it's not something I'd want to see happen on a regular basis. The 'Clones could always throw Eves back there in a pinch if push comes to shove.
I wonder if this completes Embach deal, the Corbin deal or both. Looking at Krogh's numbers 2g-1a-3pts and even over 21 games on a team with a -23 goal differential makes me think we've picked up a solid defender. |

I read that this deal is a separate deal. This trade was for cash as was the Corbin deal. We still are owed a player for Embach |
