I'm saddened to let everyone know that my grandfather, Homer "Grim" Grimme, known to most of you simply as "Grandpa" gave up his ghost on Sunday evening at his home in Alexandria. He was 86 and needless to say, will be dearly missed. He hasn't been able to make it to games for many years due to his poor health and immobility but nonetheless always thought fondly of all of you at the games whom he met throughout the years.
I will be sure to post the official obituary link when it is published online; I do not see it up as of right now. I think that my mom did arrange to have it in the local paper(s) (Would assume Enquirer, not sure what else).
Sorry for your loss. "Grandpa" will surely be missed in Section 60. He was always fun to be around. I enjoyed the couple trips we made up to Indy (back in the IHL days) in "Grandpa's" cadillac.
RIP "Grandpa"!
