Did anyone else think Dov finally started playing lower to the ice in the third and overtime and looked much better? The two new guys didn't score but it wasn't from effort.The Deitsch line looked great and the new guys line did also.That was a great ending and it's a shame that Deitsch didn't get his hat trick(the last shot must have been a re- direct by Daoust)! Great crowd which I still think the count was low but hope to see Gray on Sunday but thanks again Dov for getting your act together after the second period.
Awesome game. Easily the best of the season in my book. I am still not comfortable with Morris, at all. I give him credit for stepping up in the third and for hanging on but we had to dig him out early on. It was indeed a classic ending with the surprise OT goal coming with 8.9 seconds left. I was surprise to see J-Town switch goalies after the third goal but it turned out to be a smart move because Munce played about as good as any goalie could.
It was a great crowd that was looking more like 3500 to me but what do I know.
The team pictures are also very nice - kudos to Beacon Orthopedic - although it is kind of sad how half of the players on it are now gone.
I thought Dov started focusing midway through the second period. Before that he looked stiff and slow to react after the initial shot, and some of those rebounds were downright scary.
The energy from everyone was great--more like the Clones when they were on their last winning streak.
