with any luck montreal will not make the playoffs. that way they'll send a bunch of guys back to hamilton so hamilton will have them for the playoffs and then hamilton will send ceddy, jimmy, john, and cory back to us for the playoffs.......
no wait....they can keep cory and send us someone else. |

I understand how you all feel with the callups. But you need to remember one thing, we are a developmental league/team for the AHL & the NHL. I'm sure that once the Habs' players are healthy, we'll get "our" guys back. Meanwhile, we need to support the ones we've got! :-)

i agree with you Susan. However, I see others' points in that it's hard to identify with the team when there is so much turnover, even knowing full well it is a developmental league. this is not to say i'm not happy for the guys being called up. i mean for the most part it's due to hard work, skill and good coaching. however, i know for me personally it's just hard to handle this all once because for the majority of the season we've had these guys on our ice (as opposed to Hamilton's).
yet after all the callups,injuries and trades they take 3 in a row and still find themselves in first place..... |
