| It's killing them that the cyclones are doing so well because they predicted with the players we had we would be in last. They say they won't pay the prices the cyclones are charging because of the caliber of play. Well 10 bucks will get you an endzone seat. No ones telling you that you have to pay 17.50 and 22.50 for a ticket. Buy the 10 dollar ticket and move to a different seat. Miami University is a better product than the Cyclones?? I don't think so. Instead of making up these excuses they just need to be honest and say, "I won't go to a Cyclones game cause it's not at the gardens and owned by the Robinson's." There was talk of a Uhl team playing at the gardens and of course they all said they would support it. They even said the caliber of play was better in the Uhl than the Echl. Pleeease!!!! We have a first place team which I enjoy watching and I'm not going to let a few people ruin it for me.They can watch their center ice and reminence about taking a dump in the gardens bathroom with no door on the stall and everyone watching you. |

| Kindof on the subject of media coverage, did anyone see the video on the Cyclones website? It was fine except the shots of fans showed lots of empty seats. Is anyone here not willing to move together for a fan video for use on an advertisement? It looked bad to see the empty seats in the video. Just ask us to gather after a game for some shots. Show a packed group cheering, and it falls into the "everyone is doing it" class of ad. |

| good point raptorov. i liked that the video showed families, but they could have still showed clips of sections with more people in them. even on nights when the attendance is low, there are still areas that have decent sized groups in them, ie. behind the players benches and the penalty boxes. |

People should not forget that at the Gardens, they could play just about every game during the week. The reason being that the Gardens was only used by Xavier at the time. Very few concerts and other events. The USBA is used a lot for concerts and shows. That means that any professional team playing there must give up some valuable weekend dates.
The Cyclones annonuced their return back in April. It took a few more months to get a schedule out. With that, the team lost out on a lot of weekend dates. I have never seen the team play so many weekday games. That will KILL attendance for the season. It sounds cliche, but next season will be different. The Clones will be able to claim more weekend dates. That in of itself will bring up average attendance by about 1,000 (my rough estimate). Plus there will be a seasoned staff that will be better prepared to sell more season and group tickets.
You can't write off the team after its first season. I mean, nobody wrote off the Ducks after their first season, and they drew similar crowds (despite what they claimed). |

| We've heard more than enough about our attendance, I believe that weekday games is a part of our woes but no one could argue that teams like Reading,wheeling,and yes Dayton, have little else to offer their citizens in entertainment then a hockey game. Wheeling, there is a hotbed of entertainment. |
