With this upcoming California swing,take a look at the Alaska schedule and
you can see why they are so strong.I know all their road games are long hauls,
but Idaho for one series is the farthest East they travel.With all the Eastern
teams,why do we have to go to California at all? This trip also features two
nights of non play,so lodging and food costs will also be pumped up. The ECHL
needs to get some more western teams to get more games for the west and less
games for both East and West teams having to make those long,expensive trips.
As you can see,Alaska plays NO Eastern teams the entire year! |

| i couldn't agree more. if they aren't going to make all teams play the same number of inter-conference games, that should just operate the conferences completely seperately just like baseball used to do. this way no team has to deal with any extreme travel costs. i realize this might seem unfair come playoff time but would it really be that hard to expand the national confernce by 2 teams. since our schedule was made after the echl had anounced the schedule and the echl had to scramble and rearrange things to get us a 72 game schedule, i can understand that a long road trip may have been neccessary. the echl wants to keep teams financially viable so wouldn't have made more sense to have us play charlotte and the south carolina stingrays, since we already have a game on the schedule with columbia? or how about a trip down south to play gwinnet (near atlanta) and augusta instead of flying out to play stockton and fresno. it seems to me that with the number of teams in our conference there would be a way to schedule a 72 game season with out requiring the team to get on a plain and fly somewhere. |

A win is a win but look at our penalties! Either we are the victims of bad
referees or this team just has to start playing more smart hockey and quit
all these "tickey" fouls. Tonights game will probably be even worse being the
second of two.I vote for Ben to be in goal so Dov can have a day to rest before
playing Fresno again. With Toledo and Trenton playing head to head,that win was
huge in the standing. We need to take one of these next two games to make this
trip a success. |

| i listened to the broadcast last night and according to hammel, it was a case of a bad "hometown" referee...he apparently was always looking at something else when we got, tripped, slashed, boarded, highsticked, etc. |

Same thing on Saturday night. Hammer was having a fit with the calls but the good guys won again. :)

Isn't it funny how we seem to be the only team that DOESN'T get
home ice advantage with the refs.If the coach keeps his usual ways,
Dov will be back in goal for the third time in three days.Other than
the second Trenton game,Ben has done good in all his starts for us.Why
don't you give him a game and not use up Dov since we need him without
Cedrick around (did I really say that). |

I watched game and on B2 I got the Stockton announcers. They were saying the oppisite. They kept talking about how Cincinnati was taking "cheap shots" and how they were a "disciplined team to look at but are playing undisciplined."
Just admit when you lose/are losing. You got outplayed, outshot, and beat. |

| I have heard that the teams get a choice if they want to go out west, and that the west teams pays a lot of money to have us come out. I believe they are responsible for room and board. |
