Just checked out the Cyclones roster on the ECHL.Who is forward Billy Irish-Baker
and defensemen Brett Smith? Our uniforms must have the names attached with velcro
for easy change over!!! |

| got a little bit of info on why the one guy was here and played instead of a certain defenseman we all love :-) Apparently Irish Baker is trying to decide if hockey is really his calling in life or is he should get a real job after college so...he paid for his own airfare to come down here and give the professional hockey life a try so I guess Chuck was giving him his shot! |

Hey Jes if your right about Irish-Baker paying his own way for a tryout-the least
we can do is keep him for St.Patrick's day.How about owning a green jersey with the
name "Irish-Baker" on it.The joke will be that's his name but no one will believe you
unless he makes it.That first home game he played quite a bit in the third period
crunch time against Dayton and I saw no major flubs.If he isn't needed this year,I
would be open to a tryout next year if he shows that much effort to come in on his
own this year. |

I misspoke, it was Smith that paid his own way here (not Irish Baker as far as I know). I spoke to him on Sunday and apparently after spending a week with our guys he's decided he definitely wants to continue playing hockey... he leaves today to go back to school and finish finals so we've seen all we're going to see of him this year...maybe he'll get an invite to camp next season! |

I hope he gets to keep his jersey just in case he doesn't play again.To Brett
I say thanks for your play and hope to see you again.When we win the cup this
year you can tell everyone you played for the champions!!! Great to hear Jason
is coming back.From this point on we have to average at least one point per game
to stay in this race.The first team to lose three straight may not even make the
playoffs in our division. |

| getting jason back will be a big help. with jason and aubin back combined with the offensive production of egho, wirll, and jm maybe we dov won't be a factor becuase the guys will flat out out score the opposition (that one's for you jes) |

FYI-Jon Gleed was recalled back to Hamilton today. The transaction is on the E's web site to be effective yesterday.

What a smooth playing team when all the guns are in place! Solid
Cedrick in goal facing a 4 on 1 rush like it was pre-game practice.
All three lines putting solid scoring chances on goal. No dumb
penalties allowing Trenton a chance to get back in the game.The only
item that would have made tonight better is another couple thousand in
the stands. Too bad "holy rollers",you should have come back to see
another great hockey game! |

| I know what you meant by holy rollers but you got me thinging about a new sponsor. The casino boats. Since most of the people go to the boats are from Ohio, get Argosy to be a sponsor. Some how tie in Cyclones tickets with them, just a thought haha. |
