this is where you can voice your opinion about how bad dov is. and if you have any idea as to why chuck continues to play him over cedrick feel free to include them. i have a theory which involves a smile on chuck's face and dov walking bow legged, but i can't go into any more detail because there are a few kids that read this site.
it seems to me that dov just doesn't cut it in close games. cedrick is cedrick and is consistant as can be asked. tonite (3\14) dov made a choice that a drunk-ass beer league goalie would not have made.
i guees if you like dov you can post something in opposition, but you'll have to do quite a bit to convince me that he is worth playing or that he gives us a better chance to win than cedrick.
part of me thinks that he gave up the goal on purpose just so he would have to go back losing shoot-outs after finally winning the first of his life.

I have to totally agree with both of you. He should know by now that he needs to keep himself in front of the net & let his players do their job. He is so not able to handle going out in front of the net to chase pucks!!! I was extremely disappointed with what he did. My thought is that Chuck is keeping Cedrick rested for the playoffs & will let Dov finish out the regular season. Who knows though?
Let's just hope that Ceddy will play this weekend! |

Or is he being directed to play him by those higher-up than him?
That was a bizarre ending to a strange game. The last goal was kind of similar to our first goal. |

| well if he keeps "resting" cedrick for the playoffs the the team won't be in the playoffs. clearly there is something going as far as chuck's loyalty to dov (imho)..but unlike elvis i am not even gonna try to speculate. however, i brought this up in another thread but this rotation didn't work early in the season with these two guys so why would it now? and w/dov out of the picutre the team really came together and put together impressive streaks that got them into/kept them in first place. |
