| at the clones game tonight there was a dayton fan wearing a ducks jersey and one with a ducks flag. i spoke to the person with one of the duck flags and he said it was an inside joke between bombers fans on their message board. does anyone know what the so-called inside joke is...besides being an idiot with a duck flag? i would like to know |

You must be new to Ohio, let alone Cincinnati. Here's the scoop. Everybody from Dayton is an idiot. I never quite figured out why that is the case. It must be something in their water. Or something Wright-Pat puts into its jet fuel that pollutes the air and lowers peoples IQs to the low double digits. |

The only way we'll see each other is in the Northern Division championship series. That means both our teams have to make it out of their respective opening series. The way the Bombers have been playing lately....well.....I wouldn't bet the farm on them.
But if we do make it, I'll make sure that all of the Bomber's Mensa faithful are there. |

| i was a season ticket holder for the ducks for six years and a cyclone faithful since their inception. they didn't get under my skin. i just want to know what the joke is. i like a good joke but at the same time i live in the now. the ducks are dead. it may bother some people at the game but it doesn't bother me. |

My son and I sit in Section 112 right above the visitors walkway, so we were surrounded by the Dayton faithful last night. Any razzing back and forth was in fun, and you just have to shake your head that US Bank Arena Staff confiscated the "US Bank Arena" sign they made.
Met Jericho and the Dayton guy who got the Sweethart of the game flowers the last Dayton game. He gave my son the duck call at the end of the game.
I'm glad we have the rivalry. It's good hockey. |

Hey Jericho.....YOU were the one in the Ducks jersey weren't you? LOL I knew seeing that jersey would get under people's skin..and the sign?? That must have been a message from Citizen Dick huh? I do like a good rivalry and like the one with Dayton...unlike Todalydo where they follow you to the parking lot looking to fight. At least Dayton folks don't throw crap at you constantly. Keep it real and keep it fun guys...It's a game, and we are spectators, let's not take it personal!! Thanks for a fun year.

Okay HFH, I remember at Hobart you were looking for a smoking
area. As evenly matched as Cincy, Dayton and Toledo are, I'd
suggest stocking up on them.
It's been fun this year watching teams so evenly matched. If
I still lived in Hamilton, I'd probably be a Cyclones fan. Spent
a lot of years going to events in Cincy,(hockey, rodeo, circus,
baseball at Crosley, wrestling,etc) but that's in the past.

Hey Dayton, How about an off-season trade?
Mitts for Kirby - straight up?
It has been a great rivalry this season. I've been up to Dayton several times with my Dad and some of his friends who live there. They were actually Ice Bandits fans, and he still wears his Ice Bandits hat.
