| Hockey fans get no credit at all. I would love to see them save the garage for the Cyclones playoff games but we all know the chances of that happening. I would never pay $12 for a Reds game anway (I think that's what they charge for the garage for Reds games). |

Looks like another dinner at Hofbrauhaus and quick stroll across the river.
Actually we have some friends going to the Reds game friday, so assuming we havent swept Toledo by then, it might be fun to park at Beer Seller and take the ferry boat over, just turn right at the stadium and go to USBA. If its nice out, that may be the way to go.
Beer Sellar and the ferry boat ride is a pretty fun meeting place for Reds games and its a nice bonus if we can do that for the Cyclones. |

At Beer Seller and Hooters, they run a ferry boat over to the Stadium for Reds games. It costs $5 I think, and includes a return trip. It makes several runs before gametime, and can get fairly full for the bigger games. For the Reds, you have to leave on a fairly early boat to make game time, because it takes a little while to go and come back. While we were walking to the last Friday Cyclone game we saw it pass under the bridge. It was basically empty because it was so cold. Its just a fun trip, and seem like one of those things that are too cool to still do. Kindof 19th century.
But for Cyclones we could take the boat right before Reds game start, which gets you there late for 1st inning, but should be right on time for Cyclones!
Failing that, we just walk the bridge.
Plus it would be fun to have a bunch of Cyclone jerseys mingle with the Reds crowd. |

| A group of us took the shuttle from Bellvue over to the arena. It costs $1 each way and was well worth it. They have 1 that runs from the Covington area and 1 from the Newport. Check the TANK site for info if interested. |

it just occured to me that instead of complaining that there is a Reds game shouldn't you all be praying for rain?
5,000 - 10,000 baseball fans who's game just got canceled next door? I'd think a pretty decent ammount of them might take the attitude "Well, I already came down here and payed to park, I want some sort of entertainment tonight." and come over and watch the hockey game. |
