No. 2 Cincinnati Cyclones vs. No. 3 Toledo Storm
(Best-of-5)
The Cyclones were another surprise team this season, finishing second in the North after being dormant the past two years. Chuck Weber did a phenomenal job of recruiting, and his team will have to win its games on home ice, because Toledo Sports Arena is one of the most intimidating buildings in the ECHL. Toledo’s Matt Zultek appeared in all 72 games for the Storm and finished with 27 goals and 37 assists. If the Cyclones allow him to do his dirty work in front of the net, they will be in big trouble.
Prediction: Toledo in 4
The Hell with there predicions!!! Toledo in 4?!?! gimme a break, what a bunch of bs!!!! LETS GO CLONES!!! |

| I didn't say we should listen to them. The facts are we lead 1-0 and, if we all have it our way we will be heading home with a 2-0 lead after tonight. I was just mentioning the fact that they picked Toledo to win in 4 games. |

Dean Stork is here watching the game today. Dayton scored 3 PP goals in the first and one in the second to take a 5-2 lead thru 2. The Great Naumenko was pulled at 9:54 of the first.
Karma's a bitch, eh Naumenko? |

As much as I hate to say this, I really hope that Dayton wins. We all know our record against Trenton (blech).
Good luck to all. |

| Yes, Dayton would be much better for the roadtrips for the team and fans. I know the players would hate that 10 hour drive to Trenton once maybe twice would be a killer. |

| Looks like we're all gonna get the series everybody thought, except for the clueless guy on nhl.com's predictions, ha. I just got back from Dayton, what a great game it was. Both goalies were great especially Martin for Trenton. He was peppered a lot, but only gave up a ppg to Tifu. It was a typical playoff hockey game with special teams being the big factor. |

| If thats what it takes to be an analyst then I could do the job. I have no idea how he could pick against the top 2 goalies in the league. |

Their analyst is the same one who said that the reds have a good bullpen. It's a shame that the starters give up a solid game. Anyway, when he said TooLeeDoo in 4 was that they would be in the same sandtrap with Trenton and Andy Franck when they were supposed to be on the ice. Sorry folks, this should be a good series, especially since Cincy didn't have a team last year, and we have been at the bottom last couple. Go Bombers |

Great job proving the analyst wrong. Although, your "top 2 goalies in the league" statement, is way off base. Cedrick Desjardins, 3rd at best. I also can't find any Grumet-Morris stats at all. Looking at his Hockeydb.com stats, I'd put him way down the list. But, we can do a quick back-up goalie comparison right here.
Dov Grumet-Morris, 23 GP, 11 W, 8L, 3 OTL/SOL, 2.77 GAA, .909 SV% Terry Denike, 20 GP, 11W, 4L, 5 OTL/SOL, 2.13 GAA, .921 SV% |

| Well Berkhoel was named ECHL goalie of the year, and Desjardins was rookie goalie of the year, so I dont see how its off base to say the 2 top goalies. Maybe being named top goalies doesnt mean anything? |
