| What a great game! I had to listen to it since I am working. They dont close fire stations for playoff hockey! The only bad thing is my kids wanted to go tomorrow night, but that is a good situation for us to be in! I cant wait for Round 2!!!! |

| fantastic ending to a fantastic series. one question though... we sit in section 112 and after the game some kind of disturbance happened on the walkway behind section 114.security was called so we went to the concouse. next thing i know some angry storm fan came back to confront someone. she was letting the f-bomb fly and my son yelled to watch her language. she then went after my son and thats when my wife jumped in. i dont know what started this so if anybody knows let us know. |
What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. | I would just like to express my eternal gratitude to the US Bank Arena security staff for throwing me out and threatening to have me arrested after I was MAULED by a group of Storm fans. Elvis & I ended up getting tossed because he jumped in to keep some sore loser from trying to choke me for "hitting her daughter" ... I might throw f-bombs, but I don't throw fists. |

with a name like Dannielle (the perp was male) I know you weren't the Cinci fan I saw bum rush two 3-5 year olds in an attempt to hit a Storm fan this evening.
As a matter of fact I know it wasn't you, but I still was faced with catching one of the kids and watching anothers head smack the concrete because a Cinci fan had to be a big man about something.
That's crap... total lack of class and no Cinci fans were left around when both of those children were crying and the security/med team finally showed up.
I don't care what you guys do to adults, but to children... for shame. |

| i was over there and all i said was "thanks for coming and have a good ride home...we'll see you next year...oh wait no we won't." the next thing i know, i see dannielle get shoved. i step between dannielle and the storm fan with at least 3 to 4 feet between myself and the storm fan and was backing up the entire time. trying to avoid any sort of escalation. the next thing i know i have the hand of a storm fan making contact with my face. i did not retaliate to that in any way what so ever. before i can even turn around to see if dannielle is ok, i am being escorted out by 1 of us bank arena's finest. i would like to make it perfectly clear that i never swore or acted agressively towards any storm fan. i appreciate the fact that they came down here to support their team. i have seen both sides of this situation. i have been on the road and supported a team in a losing effort and been at home for a win. there are certian things that go along with each. if you can't take some heckling from the home crowd when you lose, you shouldn't follow your team on the road and vice versa. i have heard numerous stories about fans at the toledo sports arena that have thrown things at cyclones fans or verbally attacked them. i did neither of those things. throughout this year we have had discussions about what is ok or not ok to post on the website. the end result being that putting down an opposing team is ok as long as one does not make personal attacks towards another individual. if anyone took my comments of "you lose, thanks for coming, have a nice drive home." as personal attack then i apologize, but i thought stating facts (you lose) and wishing some one well (thanks for coming and have a nice drive home) was a polite thing to do. |

Ha, lets all remember these were the same ignorant storm fans who would all chant "Koops" when their goalie made a save(Koops didnt start the game and was sitting on the bench for those of you who mised that, lol). I had to explain to a couple fans that he wasnt playing and they said, "Oh yea, he's not". I say good riddance to the storm for a couple years, your ignorant fans, and that sheet of ice you call a sports arena. Everyone should be excited for the next round, Dayton/Cincy, Desjardins/Berkhoel, 2 towns seperated by 40 minutes, easy roadrips for both teams fans, and a shot at the conference finals on the line.
Lets all try to show more class than the storm fans and some of the cyclone fans did. Heckling back and forth at players/fans during a game is one thing, but when its over its over. In the scheme of things its just a hockey game. Is it really worth fighting over when we have so many more important things going on in the world? Just keep it in perspective.

| Actually, the Storm fans were shouting Moose, their nickname for Mustukovs, the Goalie that was on the ice for the whole game. I only was able to stay for the first two periods, so I have no idea what happened, but I can tell you that I had people starting in on me while I was in line waiting to purchase tickets, as did some others in my group. |

And while Cincy fans were in Toledo for the previous games... where was Toledo's "class" when many of our fans were being threatened??
As Elvis said, it's something that comes along with going to support your team at away games, especially when you lose. I've had it happen to me numerous times... at ECHL, AHL, and NHL games. If the Toledo fans couldn't handle Elvis telling them to have a good night while he's trying to get them off Dannielle's back then they shouldn't be dishing our fans crap when we're at their arena. |

I must say, I missed all of that.
That is disappointing, because it sours the whole game.
I remember getting threatened and nearly attacked at a Fort Wayne Komet game back in the Cyclones IHL Playoff days. The game where Pokey Reddick was hurt, if anyone recalls. After that nightmare, I vowed to never step foot in Fort Wayne, Indiana again, and I never have. I even avoid it on the highway. |

This is all very sad. It's a shame that there are a few a-holes in every city, that seem to just not get it. Yeah-it's fun to have rivalries, yell at each other, etc., but like someone said---it is just a game, and when it's over, that's how it should be taken.
It's a competition, but it's also a co-operation. Every team, every fan needs the other teams in order to make this event happen. If someone can't realize that after the game, then they need some psychiatric help, cause they're getting pissed about all the wrong things in life.

| just to add on this, i was the guy that told the sore loser to watch her language, i said nothing volgure, or mean, i just couldnt stand her doing that in front of little kids. her adrineline was way too high! |
