I emailed the league pictures of the signs that were hanging at the Nutter Center. "Ray Harris Tiny minded....greedy" and "Lisabeth is still a girl's name" The signs were very professional and located in an area where the organization would have had to give permission to hang them. I also faxed them the flyers. One was titled "#12 Travis Lisabeth cried like a little girl in prison!". The other flyer read like a news paper article...."ECHL HOCKEY NEWS Jason Deitsch comes out of the closet". It had pics of Jason and the Coach with a quote from the coach..."Jason Deitsch is a good kisser". It also used the Cyclones logo which is a patent violation. The league wrote back to me and said they were looking into the matter. I told them that the Bomber organization should be fined. They felt that the Booster club or the fans were to blame. I told them that the banner was too professional and located in an area that was off limits to the fans. The flyers were located in the restrooms and on the soda machines. They were extremely offensive. I hope that the league follows through and does sanction the Bombers organization. I will keep you posted. I was not the only fan that contacted the league. |

| And the difference between Dayton's signs and the Cyclones organization putting "See you in 2009" on the jumbotron after the Storm/Cyclones game. That was very unprofessional and it was done by the team and not "the fan club". |

| I still don't see what the big deal is about the "See you in 2009" jumbotron message. I guess I better not tell my son "see you in a few months" when he leaves for the navy. |

The "See you in 2009" could be taken as a friendly comment in my opinion. On the other hand I thought the "Hey Hey Good Bye" song was a bit over the line given that it was the Storm's last game. |
Get Clones instead of Clunkers.

| I guess what is so bad about it, was it was a slap in the face to the fans. Especially coming from a team that went through the same thing not only 3 years ago and could be facing it again soon, atleast if they don't get a solid fan base. And from what I understand, it is against ECHL rules, atleast it is for announcers. I know that they have to sign an agreement about taunting the other team over the loud speaker and that is what the Toledo fans would compare that too. |

LOL, you always play that song when you eliminate somebody, though... |

How would fans know the exact location of all the tickets bought by our fan club???
THe Staff of the Bombers had to of told someone so that should make them responsible for the actions of the fans. I also though the clones photos were in good taste but the Jason and Travis photos crossed the line. |

| You can't make a personal attack like they did. We weren't allowed to make any comment, or make fun of, a certain teams player that wanted to meet up with an undercover internet cop for some dryland training earlier in the year. Gotta' keep it broad and towards the team as a whole. Team rivalry isn't always fun for everyone, but you gotta' get over it and realize it's only a game. On and off the ice, it's all a game. You win, you taunt us... We win, we taunt you. Should be simple. |

| I agree with you, my brother from another mother....but the optimum word is SHOULD. What gets me is these other towns can do these things, but here in Conservativeinati, we can't even be loud. Our own security tells us to ,"Sit down and shut the F up!" I have been told this 3 times already. It took a while, but at least those idiots don't work for USBA, or at least hockey games any more. |

Have kept quiet in all this, just reading and absorbing all that is being said and not said............but would like to add a couple observations...........or my 2 bits worth....
Heckling opposing fans during a game is all part of the game.......it is called "fan rivalry". but to take those taunts to extremes is not! When the game is over...........IT'S OVER. We can be upset or angry of how things went........but it is time to shake hands, move on and wait for the next game.
"I know that they have to sign an agreement about taunting the other team over the loud speaker and that is what the Toledo fans would compare that too." Are you sure?? I know that there were a couple of fans I talked to that are worried that the team will even be back! So saying "see you in 2009" is a positive that the Storm WILL be back in a couple years............not a slam or a taunt! When our own Cyclones 'closed shop' for three years, how many of you thought that they would not be back?? There was NO SIGN on the jumbotron see you in 2006!! At least Toledo fans are being told it is only a couple years while a new arena is built.
I heard of (what I would also call 'slanderous)the posters hung around the arena. Yet have not heard if they were hanging the entire game?? Yes, personal attacks of a player are out of line and should of been removed by the Bomber management. As far as the 'clown' photocopies....that is what I would call clean fun.
All in all.............we can be 'rapid' fans that support our team in any way that we can! But when that support steps over the line then that no longer becomes support for the team or even fellow hockey fans!
Like Twister said so well........
