I just wanted to get this in here before the crying starts.
Cincinnati Cyclones 0 / 6 24 min / 8 inf 0 G + 0 A = 0 Pts
Dayton Bombers 0 / 6 14 min / 7 inf 3 G + 5 A = 8 Pts
Now you can start the whining about the ref.
I didn't go to the game due to a medical problem I have. I tried to watch on B2, but they suck. So, I can't say whether the ref sucked or not. Judging by the 6 PP's for each team, I'd say it was called fairly even.
I do find it funny how many in Cincy refer to Berkhoel as "five hole", considering that the first goal scored went right thru Cedricks 5-hole. |

No one can possibly complain about the refs, he only called BLATANT ****...

| R L, Not to be rude, but might I suggest before you come onto our site and applaud the refs for being fair. you might should have actually gone to the game. Look, just because the refs called 6 penalties on the Bombers and 6 on us doesn't make it fair, for example, If we were just peppering your goaltender and one of those "great calls" that you suggest occured, Because as we all know the ECHL refs are great and make no mistakes(sarcasm, It might have completly taken us out of our game. Lastly, no crying here, But if we would breakout into a crying session about the refs, I'm certain that we are entitled, after reading your coach piss and moan in a paper I subscribe to about how the big bad mean Cyclones wouldn't give you a weekend game, and then there was the "man, the refs suck" we got from you coach after the first 2 games. |

| i can't believe i'm saying this but i think earnst did an ok job tonite. he did miss some stuff and he made a few calls up. the only calls or non-calls that i would take issue with was gleed's "elbowing" penalty in the 3rd (everytime some one is checked there can be an elbowing....they all do it, so either make a mockery of the game and call them all, or just call the blatant ones....gleed really didn't do anything beyond what a player would typically do when throwing a check.). mcdonald's "tripping" penalty was kind of mysterious. he skated by the dayton player and the dayton player fell several seconds later when matt wasn't anywhere near him. in the second when the 'clones where creating a lot of chances had a dayton chasing, the puck was lying at the side of the crease and a dayton player plowed into berkhoel and knocked the net loose. that should have been delay of game as the dayton player was not pushed by a 'clones player. i'm sure dayton fans can come up with a couple of issues with the ref as well, which is why i say it was pretty even. we just quit skating after giving up the short handed goal. |

| I agree there were some ok calls by the ref, and there were some that didn't really need to be called, but overall pretty fair I thought. It should be a good game tonight. See ya there.. |

he comes over to an opposing teams message board to stir it up over fans whining about officiating... and all of this over a game he didn't go to.  you gotta be kidding me.
for someone to be so anti-"homer"... hmm well you know what i'm getting at.
i guess you could say any whiney ass homer has more of a right to complain about the fairness of officiating over anyone who wasn't even there at all.
we all know officiating has nothing to do with this series. it's who is playing harder. so stop going on and on and on and on about it. |

Well we all should be very happy with this year. This was a team that was expected to be 27th out of 28 teams in the league. They not only made the playoffs, but got just about halfway to a championship. They went on the road to Toledo and won 2 playoff games(not something many teams can say they've done in Toledo). Unfortunately by the performances in the last 2 games it appears they have given up. It sucks but tonight on our way back home remember its just a game and there will be other chances. I hope they at least go down fighting and dont lay another egg like the last 2 games. |

Man, you guys can dish it out, but boy oh boy, when someone comes to your board, you sure can't take it at all. Thicken up that skin a bit eh.
What I did see on B2 was the first goal, scored thru the 5-hole on Cedrick. The broadcaster even stated it as well.
As Elvis stated in another thread about game #1 or #2, in a reply to my comments about Suhy, this game was probably called pretty crappy both ways, hence the 6 PP's for both teams. But judging from the responses of some Cyclones fans, it was called pretty decent. I merely stated that it was called "fairly even". And now, to cry and whine about my original post. I guess my original intent for this thread has been met.
Some people on this board need to suck it up a bit. Face it, you got beat. Now, let's see if your team can once again choke, at the most important time. |

Well you and the broadcaster must be blind then, thats all I can say. It really doesnt matter how many PP's what team gets because both teams' PP's are HORRIBLE. And don't worry, I'm confident the Cyclones will choke 1 last time. |
