My wife and I went to the disaster on Saturday ! Florence stunk up
the place on the field BUT the first 1000 got a pretty decent golf
visor hat with their logo on it. Every half inning they had some
kind of activities to keep the crowd up.Also, parking was free, food
was cheap and two seats in the first row directly behind third base
were $8 each ! This is what MINOR LEAGUE SPORTS should be like.

Our beloved Cyclones need to look at the Freedom's ticket prices.

we went to thursdays and fridays game- great game on thursday, friday they played like the reds. couldn't make saturdays game because we spent the weekend in indy for the 500. incidentally i ran into tom browning during the first rain delay. he was pretty well toasted but a nice person none the less.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

hey somebeach, don't you have the feeling at their games that management knows they
aren't MAJOR LEAGUE and don't try to make you think they are. The owners try every angle
to make a dollar give a dollar back.Sometimes I think the Cyclones think just because
they're on the river w/ the Reds and Bengals that they are MAJOR LEAGUE.Cheap give outs
and fun and games between periods will keep the crowd alive and help overcome any bad
play on the ice.Even though Saturday's game was badly played,we left the stadium still
happy and ready to go back again. That was the feeling we used to have when we left the
Gardens and early Arena days.

Also, little things like the staff greeting people and thanking you for coming at the end of the game goes a long way in wanting you to return.

i totally agree with you bags. in my opinion you get more bang for your buck with the freedom than you do with the reds. i have been going to freedom games since clint brown took over the team. although i am not a season ticket holder i do know some of the people in the front office and they stop by where we sit and say hello (my wife likes the last row of the green seats on the third base line). what is really nice to see is after the game is over the players will stop and give autographs on their way off the field. my son is into photography and he had some players last year ask for some extra copies of pictures that he took.

Well, I had forgotten that I love baseball after the MLB strike, and it took the Freedom to remind me. Its what I look forward to when hockey is over.
I will miss Saturday's game because we will be camping, but I will be there Sunday for Myron Noodleman. (How absurd is that? What ever happened to hockey's Happy Tooter?)

If you want to see some good clean minor league fun,try the Florence
game tonight (7-8) when they have the "ZOOPERSTAR GANG" tonight,a group
of people dressed in crazy mascot type outfits in-between innings.Too bad
Twister couldn't make an appearance on behalf of the Cyclones!
