So I would like to make a wager with one of you Cinci goons.
I'm so confident that Dayton will beat Cincinnati on October 20th and shut you guys up that I propose this wager.
The fan of the losing team (whomever takes the bet with me becasue Dayton will win.) Must show up to the next game (10/28) and display a sign before the game for no fewer than 5 minutes (while walking around the concourse or the interior arena) that reads:
My name is ______ I thought the ______ would win the first game of the season, I lost a bet so now I'm holding this sign. I'm the biggest idiot ever.

So if the Cyclones win, you will where that sign in a city where nobody knows you, or will recognize you. How about you wear it the next time it is played on your home ice. Maybe your boss or a neighbor will see you. Or how about if the Clones win, you wear a sign that says, "I'm an idiot. Go Bombers!" when the game is played in Cincinnati. The same goes for a Cyclones fan if Dayton wins, but it happens the next time they play in Dayton.
And you have to wear nothing but a diaper and that sign. (ok, that may be too much). |

I said at the game on 10/28 - that game is in Dayton...
Also it's spelled wear when referring to placing something on your body. |

If it was the idiots comment I wasn't meaning it in a personal sense (and never directed it at one person.) That was meant in the sense that I thought it was idiotic that nobody would take me up on my bet.
Sorry for the confusion.
On a personal note to you KRL, I have no idea what user name your dad posts under. I'm assuming it's one of the people who responded to this post. I don't know your dad, but I'm sure he's a great guy (he takes his kid to hockey games, that makes him a great guy in my book.) However, you need to realize one thing with me, and it NEVER comes across as well as I'd like on these message boards. I'm the most sarcastic jerk you'll ever meet in your life. Look at the way I treat 90% of the people on the Dayton message boards. Those are the people I sit with at games. It's just who I am. Do I like you? Of course I do. Are we friends? Of course we are.
Unless I say KRL is a _____ I'm not aiming it at you. I called all Cincinnati fans goons at the beginning of this post. Was that aimed at you? No. Was that aimed at anyone else on this board individually? No. You should hear some of the stuff Hecklerfromhell and I yell at each other during games. Afterward and during intermission we talk like civilized human beings, but on the message boards and during the game we go at each other. It's part of a rivalry.
That's all I'm going to say on that. If you feel like I was targeting you or your dad with the comments I was making I'm sorry. If you want to talk about it any more I'll be at the game at Kettering. Find me and we'll grab a soda and we'll talk about it some more. |
