The Cincinnati Cyclones game against the Elmira Jackals will be carried on SuperTalk FM 96.5 at 7pm.

The ghosts and gobblins may be out in full force, but while you are out with the kids--do not forget your radio and tune in!

The Cyclones (2-1-0) on the season, kick off their four game road trip tonight. Defenseman Gerard Miller, who just returned to the Cyclones on Monday, is expected in the lineup.

The Jackals (2-1-1), counter with former Trenton goaltender Joel Martin in net. Elmira will play host to Cincinnati for the first time in ECHL history tonight.

The pregame show immediately follows Andy Furman's Super Sports show (form 4-7pm) and faceoff from the First Arena is slated for 7:05pm (Zamboni permitting).

I love how they threw in the "Zamboni permitting" hahaha!

I just hope the defense can contain them Friday. If they are sticking to the tandem method in goal and Grumet-Morris gets the nod, I'm afraid the Jackals could double that score with another 40 shots.

I'm glad that you are so interested in the Cyclones that you post in threads on that team's board about games against other opponents.

Ceddy still doesn't look like he did last year. It's still early but we'll see. I give Dov the upper hand right now. What concerned me is the amount of stupid penalties we had. Give a group of ogres an extra man and they'll beat us down every time.

part of ceddy's problem right now is, apparently montreal is trying to tweak his style a little bit. they want him to play smarter based on position rather than bassing all his stops on his athleticism. this will make him better in the long run, but for the short term...well let's just say that he's going to need plenty of offense out of the guys.

the guys did spend way too much time in the box, but i think a bigger concern is the play of the d at the offensive blueline and in transition. chuck is on record as saying that he wants the blueliners to play aggressive trying to keep the puck in the zone and create turnovers, but this strategy is resulting in a lot of odd man breaks going the other way. i like the puck possession that our team is showing, but if the opposition gets to head the other way with numbers, we are going to give up plenty goals.

To be fair, both Dov and Cedrick have records of 1-1 right now.

If you look at the losses, Dov faced 16 shots on the game (at home) and Cedrick faced 40 (away).

Still way too early to favor either guy.

Probably unfair to say, but I think we expect more out of Ceddy after last year than we do out of Dov. I give Dov the upper hand as well (for the time being at least).
