1. Choppy game early-no rhythm. Both teams came out slow and lethargic.
2. Not sure whether the Cyclones began to play better in the 2nd period, or Dayton got tired.
3. 2 hard shots off the post! geez.
4. Suhy really really sucked! If you look at the game sheet, there are tons of penalties. Actually, the game was pretty clean. Suhy missed some obvious calls and called more-than-a-few invisible penalties.
5. Since when does 500 people tops at the Nuthouse equal 1,988?? It's called attendance for a reason.
6. We complain about US Bank Management, but Nutter Center is even worse! I had one ticket I hadn't used from the zamboni fiasco. They would not let me exchange it for another, so that my son and I could officially be sitting next to each other (not that that was really a problem... It was pretty echo-y in there). Then, before the game we went down behind the glass to watch warmups---within 30 seconds an usher was there to let us know we couldn't be there because this was "the gold seat area." We couldn't be there because of people who had bought gold seat tickets. Well, like Suhy's penalties, they must have been invisible, because I sure didn't see anybody behind us. I figured, like maybe, because this was my second trip up there to see this particular game, they might cut some slack and let us stand there for warmups in front of the invisible fans, but no--it was "arena policy." Getting nowhere with the usher, I was directed to guest relations----same crap. plus magically two security officers appeared, I suppose to make sure a 60 year-old almost-senior citizen and his 11 year old son would not be causing any trouble. What a joke! So much for fan-friendly promotion of minor league hockey.
OK-ranting is over. Thank you for indulging me. In the scheme of things it all wasn't terribly important, but I will think twice about patronizing Nutter Center in the future.
The game was good. Irish-Baker skated his heart out, as usual. JM was fantastic. Dov looked very very shaky in goal, especially early on.
I thank you, and goodnight. Hakeedude |

4. What's new?
5. I watched the game online and I predicted less than 500. Someone on another board who went to the game with his wife said they together counted 202 people in the stands near the end of the first period.
6. I was going to do the same thing, trade in 2 of ours which were purchases for that game. Sounds terrible. |

| Nothing is new here. We might have some poor relations with the camera issues, etc. but we are allowed to watch warm-ups from wherever we would like. I've never had any problems moving down for warm-ups. I can see if someone came and you were in their seat and they asked you to move, but IMO if no one is there, why can't you stay? It's only warm-ups. Whatev though... I've known for a while what kind of joke their staff is. Old news to me. I'd love to say I won't return there after the problems I've had, but I continue to go up when the Cyclones play. My ticket money is all they get though... and that's even too much. |

I was fortunate enough to have front row seats to that particular session of Cyclones Players and Fans: Child Beaters 101 and that is something I surely won't be forgetting any time soon. |
