Daoust with a hat trick (one power play, one shorthanded, one even strength), Howells with five points. Overall three short handed and three power play goals. Another solid start by Max. Decent crowd for a Sunday. 4 out of 6 points on the weekend. Great game.
Also have to give it up to Mr. Redlegs for that great sliding save with the bat on Twister's wristshot. Question though, who were the bear and fox/cat mascots? I knew Gapper and Redlegs, the NKU Norse and Twister, obviously, couldn't figure out the others. |

Note: the cyclones got about a 2 minutes spot on channel 19's sports wrap last night and of course Geisenslau or however you spell his name has no idea how to pronounce JM's name ~ it was John michael Dowst in his mind...but they did mention that the cyclones are "the hottest team in town" and that they have scored the most goals of any team in the ECHL. Good to see Ch19 is starting to see the light.
In any event, great game last night! I thoroughly enjoyed tyler's half ice shorthanded goal and the 3 total short handed goals...the teamwork and selflessness on the breakaways was nice to see, making sure the puck got into the net instead of padding their individual stats . Hope it continues. |

| ^haha, I really don't care if it was offensive, since it made me laugh the second I saw it, but I am sure some Chiefs fans would hate it if they saw it. |
