Did anyone watch the Buffalo-Pittsburgh game at OUTSIDE Buffalo stadium.
Finally ended in a 1-1 tie and Pittsburgh winning the shootout with
a Crosby shot. What a fun game for the fans and the NHL.

my son and i watched the game.the weather made the play sloppy at times but looked like a fun time. we decided that if they did this next year we will go to it.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

ZINGER!!!!!

Had the game on in our home......Had to be one of the more interesting hockey games ON TV I have watched in a long time. They did everything possible to make things even between teams due to the 'wild' weather. Was interesting to watch how the 'big boys' had to work to control the puck.

Liked the comment from one of the announcers, about how hockey fans are among the greatest sport fans there are. As if he said something we hockey fans did not already know!!!

It was AWESOME. It was a great game and the Conklin-Miller match up was a classic. I love the Pens retro powder blue sweaters. The hit on Brooks Orpik in the first period was also priceless. Have to give the Buffalo crowd major props for bringing the noise volume. Really made for an intense game especially at the end and in OT. It was a finish just like anyone could have guessed, Sidney Crosby wins it in the SO going 5-hole.

I watched it too & was completely impressed. I personally didn't like the Penguins jersey cause that's not the colors I'm used to seeing the Penguins in. I loved the ski cap that Ryan Miller had on top of his helmet-that was just priceless!!! I'm sure that even though the weather conditions were not top, the fans didn't care one hoot.

I did notice that our national anthem wasn't sung. If anyone finds out where we can write to complain about this, please let us know.

Hockey is life. All the rest is just small stuff.

Ryan Miller didn't wear just one tuuk(ski cap). He actually wore three, one each period. Apparently he has a foundation and plans on donating them to that foundation. More than likely they will be auctioned off at some later date.

From Wikipedia...
Steadfast Foundation

Ryan Miller, along with his dad, Dean, started the Steadfast Foundation which supports cancer patients and their families.

And yes, it was an awesome game.

It was a great game to watch, and the players looked like they were really enjoying themselves. It brought back memories of playing in the old outdoor rink up in Hamilton and losing sight of the puck in the little snow drifts that built up in the corners. The Olgie Olgelthorpe commentary between 1st and 2nd periods was great! I didn't realize he was modeled after a real minor leaguer.

It's not unheard of to have God Bless America sung in place of the Star Spangled Banner at sporting events. Personally I don't feel it is a big deal, unless it's done at a Cyclones game, and no one can shout "Free Howie!" at the appropriate time.

I'd rather hear a great "God Bless America" than some of the butcher jobs
people have done with "The Star Spangled Banner".We've had some good ones
over the years at USBA, but the Mystics are still number one in my book.
I wish the Arena could get the Mystics in the recording studio and play
them when ever we don't have a live singer.I hope the NHL can build on this
game and get back somehow on TV at least a few games each week.

HAHAHA FUNNY!!! It's true though. Thats all I heard was how great he is. BORING!!!

NOW about the anthem. That is our national anthem and should have been sung. I don't care how great someone can sing God Bless America. I felt that it is wrong that they didnt sing it. Especially since they sang O' Canada in Buffalo!!!! which is in New York!!!! Which is in the United States of America!!!!! Give me a break.
