I'm surprised to hear that. Montreal was so excited to have him down here and now they don't even have him signed? thats kinda weird to me.
He belongs to Hamilton, not Montreal, that's why. He's been on a 2-way with HAM since he turned pro.
I feel dumb now, I thought he was signed by MTL. |

I agree with you Bags #14 should have been retired as Stefan Ustrof not as Pete Rose. I am a Rose fan but what the hell did he do for the Cyclones? Fun story about that when someone ask Ustrof about his # hanging from the rafters he said " That's great but they spelled my name wrong" |

I just thought of something, no one else from "back in the day" will see the rafters for this reason, this is not the same cyclones organization, as i recall, the IHL cyclones moved to the ECHL then the team itself moved to Lowell and the Louisville XXXXXXXX moved to Cincinnati to become the current cyclones, and the only reason they kept the cyclones name was for name recognition, which we all see worked well *long drawn out sigh* hell i still hear people asking if the cyclones still exist.
Oh well. |

| I think the Pete Rose thing is stupid too. I'm a fan of his, but yah... he's not a hockey player! |

Well, when the Ducks were here, I would tell people I was going to a hockey game and they'd be like "THE CYCLONES?" and then they thought that the Cyclones were in a higher league than the Ducks, if they even knew that the Ducks existed. Doesn't really say much for Cincinnati as a "hockey town." |

| Ron Fuller deserves to have his name hanging from the rafters. While Doug Kirchhofer gets the credit for bringing the Cyclones to Cincinnati, Mr. Fuller was the one responsible. |

He's gone to MTL's camp and gone through all of the motions but he's not actually their property. I'm not sure why... |

^see I saw his camp videos that the reason I was under that impression.
But I heard someone say Freddy Chabot, and I think that should be the next name as far as the CYCLONES go, even if it isn't the same organization. |
