| Ugly game, but 'll take the win. Was it me or was Dayton a bit chippy and a bunch of hackers? |

| A win is a win is a win, i agree i'll take it but it'd be nice to see the guys play 60 minutes of hockey for once, and i didn't see anything out of the ordinary for a clones Bummers game, other than me sitting with jericho and his bud |

Anthem was killer!
And I agree that we didn't play very well... Dayton seemed to be getting frustrated and pulling some ELM tactics though. |

Another win. Great. BUT, I'm getting a bit concerned with our team's obvious lack of toughness. Beauregaurd gets leveled (and sustains a concusssion) vs. Miss. and no one does anything. Pint-sized punk Bonnello jumps McElroy and no one does anything. Granted, they couldn't do anything to Bonnello given that he got tossed, but last I looked there were 15 other targets.
If Weber keeps dressing the completely useless Bonneau and there is no retaliation for acts like these it tells me one thing. Chuck is only interested in pleasing higher ups for future employment. And that doesn not bode well for us. |

I don't think it really matters HRC, we keep winning...And I actually enjoy talking to Jericho and Shroom
Oh yeah and last time i checked it's more fun to sit with someone then what I usually do, sitting in an empty row in 112~ So yeah... |

I believe our boys do care about when others get into fights and hurt however, they also know when it is a good time to go to the box for a penalty. I think they know what matters.
However, I'll agree with us being sloppy tonight. I just hope we a can get another few wins so that we can break the echl record. |

the boys must have had their guinness during the 2nd intermission because no one stepping in was brilliant. if someone steps in it turns into 5 on 5 hockey. no damage was being done to mcelroy, so let it go and we get a 5 minute PP, which if i call correctly was when we scored the game winner.
chuck's job is to win hockey games and to develope hockey players...lets evaluate him. is he winning? YES. is he developing hockey players? judging by the number of call ups we've had...YES. speaking of which...in chuck manages to keep these guys on the winning side of the score board regardless of who has been called up.
hrc...if you want to watch goon hockey move to elmira. chuck is doing a bang up job and has the boys realizing when the right time to fight is and isn't. |

I'm going to agree with Kym and Elvis on this one...
Elmira has shown us that the goon style of hockey isn't going to get you into a first place position. I don't think our team has a problem with sticking up for eachother. We have a few "rough" boys like Chico, Jimmy, and Avery... but they're not the only ones that hold eachothers backs. Honestly, I've seen everyone but Fuller step up to protect themselves and teammates. Even if some of those wouldn't win a boxing match, they're still standing ground. Deitschy has been in the middle of a lot of it. Even Urkel has been risking breaking a nail or two. But, like others said... there's a time and place to drop the gloves... and when you're in a tight spot like we were tonight, you need to judge your penalties wisely. Giving or receiving a black eye is not always worth allowing the other team the advantage. |

IMO, it's necessary to 'send messages'. If we get the reputation for being soft, it will haunt us. We're going to win the division unless we fall on our face. We'll probably have Martin and MacDonald and possibly Miller back by the playoffs. Talent advantage over most of our opponents is a non-issue. We win hands down. I am concerned that we can get knocked off of our game when we face a quality opponent which plays a physical game. Dayton, Wheeling, Johnstown, Trenton, Mississipi are not quality opponents.
The team doesn't need to goon it up. They just need draw a line as to what they will take and what they won't. They haven't done that in my eyes. The Beauregaurd incident was a disgrace. Martinson in Elmira and Taylor in Reading notice stuff like this.
Developing players includes developing their toughness and willingness to stand up for their teammates. I don't think Weber excels at this portion of development. Other than this, though, he is quite good. |

| How about that Cory Urquhart? 2 goals yes but he shot the puck 14 times last night. I have to wonder how we might have handled the power plays had he passed the puck 12 of those times. |
