9-3 Johnstown decimates them last night; 7-1 Reading cleans up the ice with them tonight. 95 Elmira penalty minutes and suddenly we're 7 points ahead with a game in hand.

| OLD TIME HOCKEY...LOL Funny, 8 of those happened AFTER the game was over! Sore losing pansies. Abuse of Officials? Physical with Officials? I don't see the league putting up with this garbage. Take your skate off and stab em why don't ya? |

Hopefully, the wheels have fallen off for these bucketheads.
Extra good news for us is just around the corner, hopefully. Montreal has sent a newly-signed defenseman to Hamilton and one of Hamilton's injured defenseman has returned. Gleed and Martin didn't dress tonight. If we get one of those two and MacD back, then we're looking really strong. It amazes me that we've won 9 in a row even against the lame teams we've been playing. Hyphen and Cedric have really stepped it up a notch, in Dov's case two.

| Elmira is getting out of hand with this stuff.. Its no doubt the penalties are killing them.. They gotta wake up and realize they have to play to win not take 95 or 200 penalty minutes. We were neck and neck with them and now we are 7 points ahead. I almost feel sorry for them... almost |

I always wondered on a game getting out of hand if the refs should stop play,
bring both teams out on the ice standing at the blue lines facing each other,
then read the riot act out to players and coaches if that might work.We all
have seen the nights when refs lose control of the game and some nights maybe
even a forfeit to one or both teams need to be done.Then let the ECHL review
the tape and see if it was team 1,team 2 or the refs who caused the problem. |

I think it's called a UHL/IHL team moving to the ECHL and still wanting to
play their old style. Elmira will have to change to playing hockey or plan
on returning to the U/I if they want to win. The ECHL has let it be known that
"bully" hockey is not going to be tolerated. I don't want "Ice Capades" or
"Slap Shot" hockey. Give me skating,checking, maybe a one on one fight, but
mostly good hockey with limited stoppage of play. |

Watson should be arrested for assault. The whole Elmira team, and especially the coach make a mockery out of hockey and the unwritten rules players have about fighting. Unfortunately, I have not seen anything on their message boards decrying this behavior.
I think if the Clones were to behave that way, or just about any other team in the league, most fans would not be proud to say the least. But maybe I'm wrong about that. |
