surface is still good at the Gardens.

The ice at the Gardens is better than the ice at U.S. Bank Arena. The Gardens has always had good ice.

The Gardens always has good ice? Only when it's cold outside. The October games and anything later than March is potentially brutal. I'm not saying the ice at USBA is anything to rave about but if the temperature is anything above 50 with any sort of humidity the Gardens ice get really slow as condesation adheres to it. Not to mention the fog. Unless they've added AC or better ventilation I doubt that's changed. Granted, from mid November through the end of February it is probably the best sheet around, unless you count Goggin.

Seems to be a dying plan. U.S. Bank arena put a lot of their eggs in the basket of UC footing the bill, and moving in.
