I heard Ken Broo on WLW Sun AM Sports Talk. He had a lot of nice things to say about the Cyclones and the experience of going to the game last night against Elmira. Said he had a great evening. Talked about Cyclones speed and not gooning it up. Brought up the cheap ticket prices, and how the Cyclones and USBA have finally "gotten it right."
We need more comments like that in the media! |

| Good for him. I also heard that Weber and a couple of players are supposed to be on Sports Rock on Channel 5 tonight (11:35 PM). |

| Haha my mom definatley called me to tell me about that this morning. She said he was VERY well impressed with the Cyclones, and hopefully that and tonight's news appearance gets some more heads in the stands. I've been really impressed with the crowds lately, but I could handle a larger number for sure :) Even if that means waiting in long lines for tickets! |

This what Ken Broo had to say about the Cincinnati Cyclones
on his blog page on Friday Feb 22.
Finally, a shout out to our ECHL franchise, the Cincinnati Cyclones, who have now won 13 in a row and are home tonight and Saturday night at the US Bank Arena. This is a team with a legit shot to win its league championship. There's only one thing wrong with this team: where it plays. If Cincinnatians have said anything about local sports in the last 30 years, its that they don't want to drive downtown to watch anything unless its Bengals or Reds. For whatever reason, US Bank Arena offers no appeal. It's where franchises go to die. The Cyclones are the latest artisitc hit and box office flop. Attendance has been better since the team lowered ticket prices to $8. But I wouldn't be surprised to see the team leave after this season. Very sad.
Can someone else besides me tell Mr. Broo, Why isn't any thing said about the games on WLWT.COM sports page. Not once this seson I have seen anything about the Cyclones on there sports page. Also look to the right and see what is under the local teams. What team is missing?

| Typical, simply freaking typical.....Hey Ken it's pretty damn sad that on your blog we have to read the crap that you put out about not being surprised if they leave, thats great ,It's not enough to just give them props. If the 1000 or so fans Saturday night said "hey, I might think about going to more games next year cause I had a great time, but then reading Ken Broo's take and not being surprised if they leave...someone might look at that and now say..well why would I bother, they might leave next year anyway. Well, Ken 5100 freakin fans were there last night and we seem uninterested about the drive downtown. |

| This was apparently written before he attended a game. His tone this morning was decidedly different. No mention about them not making it downtown either. He really did sound like a convert. We'll see... |

| It might have been before the game but the normal people reading it dont know that. Unless maybe tonight he comes out and says something about it. And oh.. I got upgraded to to the next level! I didnt even notice! Yay me. Anyway I hope he posts something positive about us soon or its gonna hurt. |

He came out and said on the radio this morning that he was impressed after attending this weekend. I'm sure the same deal will be spoken tonight (or lets hope). Hopefully we can talk him into posting his "approval" on his blog so that the internet readers can hear it there as well. |
