Sounds like a good idea. im always posting bulletins about upcoming games & i know there is Cincinnati Cyclones on myspace & facebook but there is alot more that they could do on there... every once in awhile they post bulletins and have events but thats only for some games! they should be doing that EVERYGAME! I dont know who runs it, but i know the myspace page has over 1000 friends and if they posted more things about the team that could certainly help. i also say we forget the actual people that work there and do it ourselves! When the railraiders were trying to get 2000 people caitskee and i asked to use the logo, made flyers & got a bunch of extra yard signs to put everywhere so i'd definitely help with the street team thing!

Yah, it could do some help. I agree that we shouldn't sit on our hands and wait for them. We can get together and plan something if we want to, or we can just talk about it on here haha. I don't care what we do, but I'm up for suggestions and getting the ball rolling. There's no reason for us to wait until next season to start, but we can for sure do some work over the summer as well!

Ok.. lets all draw up some fliers and submit them to the forum.. the as a whole we can vote on the best ones and start passing them out. Include things like game dates and promotions as well as the websites for the echl and the team

I'd say aside from fliers, the next order of business if you're going to do a street team is to look at the calendar of Cincinnati events and see where you would be able to be very visible and to POSITIVELY promote the reputation of the team. Someone with the right digits in their phone needs to drop a call to the marketing department of the team and see if you have their support, and secondly if there's anything they can do to help you.

I agree with that TMWWI. They might have some things to help us.
Also, does anyone else notice that the a couple of the MC's for the games are Fritch(sorry for the misspelling) from the Jeff and Jen morning show on Q102 and one of the guys from KISS FM's morning show? I don't know if they would be any help but I know the Q102 might help us out if we talk to them, those guys are really nice people. Could that be an angle as well?

You could even throw together some sort of block party before the final home series. Have it on the plaza outside of the arena. Maybe someone from the Clones could get their corporate sponsors to buy food and/or pay for entertainment. At that point, you can call in favors from Q102, etc to get it plugged on the air.

This is actually a decent idea. |
