Kataklysm also had the idea of a street team. Im in a band and go to a lot of concerts and people, myself included, are always handing out flyers for their shows and stuff.. find out big events going on at USBA and when they let out we could be there with stuff to promote the team. it seems to work for us so it should work here

This is pretty much off topic from the rest of this thread at this point but I feel the need to address that comment. You are correct that the glass right in front of you was replaced this year and the same happened at the other end. The glass in the corner two or three panes to your right is the same glass I was looking through in 2003 and it is extremely scratched and marked up. In addition, I used to be able to see the action in the left corner but the new glass in the ends distorts horribly if you look at it from an angle so whenever they end up in the left corner I can't tell what is happening anymore. Believe me when I say I am a major Cyclones fan but the fact that I have so much trouble seeing from my normal seat has me very frustrated. I tried higher seats several times but I like being close to the action and the higher seats are not near as exciting.

Get Clones instead of Clunkers.

Since we are talking about ideas on advertising, som of you might have seen some of my work at the Pucks And Pastas throughout the 90s, I sketched Dionne, Biggs, Shane Willis, and Ed Patterson. I designed the 10th anniversary Logo in 2000 for Kirchofer. All was volunteer work. I have a fair amount of graphic illustration background, My point is on several occasions I have offered up to the Cyclones my help in design. I'm certain that they have gone and paid certain companied thousands for what I would do for free. I like the Street team concept and would volunteer my time as well. I'm certain that all of us have talents that we would offer up for free. Been to a Blue Jackets game recently? That whole introduction to the team at the start on the jumbotron is awsome, I would love to find someone willing to pick through footage of Cyclone tapes in order to develop a new tape......my point is, Fans of the Clones are a thick skinned proud bunch...we take quite alote of crap from others. And many of us would be tickled to help out.

Who said we have to ask them? Why don't we form a "Street Team" ourselves and do something this week!!?? Never too late to help out this year. And maybe management will see that the team needs to stay.

If you want to volunteer anything it needs to be brought up to the right person so they can bring it up in their weekly meeting. They finally used my golf cart which I offered a coulple times last year and was ignored, but this year I talked to Chris and gave him a picture of it, and they finally used it for NASCAR night and will most likely use it on Fan Appreciation day. It's just unfortunate they don't have a good place down there to store it to use all season long.

Maybe not pictures of ourselves but, and this is coming from my music background again, a promo package. Like a report of who we are and what we want to do as well as ideas for cyclones related activities and maybe a few pictures

I think the street team is an excellent idea. I am all for helping out with this and doing whatever I can in my power.

Would all of us meeting together in person be a beneficial idea? Like meet together somewhere and discuss what we want to accomplish, how we can do it and how we want to organize the team? I say this because most street teams have several people in charge of thier own states but in our case I would say have certain people be in charge of certain areas of the tri-state.
