With the B B Riverboat working a shuttle for
Reds games to cheaper parking, maybe we should
find out if they would do it for the Cyclones.

I don't think there are enough people to make it worth it for them.

What about the restaurant's that have bus shuttles?

I know a couple of the places in Newport on the Levee have dinner specials with a free bus to Reds games, maybe the Cyclones should talk to them.

Doesn't Willie's in Covington have a bus they use for the Red's
game? Maybe if we got a group to go to dinner first,we could get
a ride over and back after the game with the parking in their lot
free. Another idea would be the lot at Broadway Commons.
Don't they have a shuttle bus.
The "new" management has to find ways to make
a game cost lower for fans. It's a shame the greedy Hamilton County
owns all the close lots.

Bags:
The dinner thing isn't a bad idea but if the Cyclones keep their early game starts, that's going to be awfully hard to do. Most folks don't get off work until 5:30 - 6p so it's usually a quick scarf of something at home and then on to the arena.

There are many ways to subvert the Hamilton County paradigm.

Sounds to me like a good topic a month before the season starts.
One thing I wonder about-why does the Mike Fink get to rope off
"PUBLIC LANDING SPACE (aka-free parking)" for their customers when
we have to pay for our parking next door? It was our tax dollars
that payed for the parking and the main purpose was for boating
traffic. Why not first come-first serve.

The parking problem might be moot. According to the press release from today, parking will be FREE for all season ticket holders.

Good news everybody. They announced that ticket prices for full season ticket holders and partial STH with 22 games and higher will be reduced and also......FREE PARKING!!!!!! Nice, huh? They should be sending info out next week. Those with less than 22 games will pay the same price.

$9 seats in the end zones will now be $7.50

$15 seats on the sides will now be $12.

Games during the week will still start at 7:05 but the weekend games will start at 7:30p.

Seems like they are trying to win back some of the old fans who left. They are off to a good start especially announcing Chris Cichocki as the new head coach. Good luck to Chris. He is excited about being "back home".

That news sounds great. Reduced prices will help greatly for
families. Now if we can land a radio deal the Cyclones will fly
again. It looks like it's my turn to step to the plate and order
season tickets.

Just a question...not worried or anything and need to double check my statements, but when season ticket holders bought their playoff packs did anyone check the fee for the 50 down deposit for next years season tickets. I dont know if that money charged your credit accounts. Like I said I think I check to reserve my tickets but dont remember off hand I was charged.

Found my statement and I WAS charged for my two seats for a down payment for the next season. (Yes, I had checked the box.) With the new ownership, I will have to watch carefully when my statement comes from the Cyclones in the coming weeks.

*********************************
On a personal note>>>>>>>>>>> I look forward to the coming season with a great deal more of a positive outlook. Watching the news tonight, I was pleased with the coverage and what Chris had to say!

I think that's just the rain Clonz... ;)

It's good to have Chico back, but I'm still not thrilled with the idea of firing a coach that took us to the Conf. Finals.

I know it's a new ownership group, but still...

OK, I guess I'm not the only one who's not thrilled with the firing of our coach. I think he deserved as much credit as anyone for the teams success last year. I have nothing against Cichocki, but the way I look at it, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. New owners or not, Cammeron deserved better. As far as the new ownership group is concerned ... someone correct me if I'm wrong ... they orchestrated Doug K.'s departure by bailing on the team ... got back into the picture as owners of the arena ... and used that position to force out the last ownership group (who, I admit, I was very disappointed with) ... my impression at this point is that Nederlander couldn't care less about the Cyclones or their fans. I think that they just want a tenant for the arena. If something better came along, I think we'd be out in the cold in a heartbeat. Am I the only one that sees things this way? Don't get me wrong. I'm happy there will be a season next year, I'm happy ticket prices have been reduced, but I can't help but notice the bad vibes that have surrounded the team in recent years. I don't want to bring anybody down ... I guess I just wish we didn't have to deal with all this crap.
