What Clonz says... nature of the beast.
The sweep of the front office sort of took me by surprise as well, especially DeVitto's departure. And yah, there are a lot of negatives associated with this move but, on the other side, there are a lot of positives.
Let's see how the ownership acts before we react.
As always, cautiously optimistic. |

| I agree with Gonz. Let's cut the negativity! I'm glad to see that Chris is back and wish him luck. I will be renewing my season ticket. As far as Malcolm goes, I wish him well too. |

Maybe the new management will have another "town meeting" with
the season ticket holders and the fans to talk about how to improve
from last year. The season ticket info looks good, but I still would
like to see some way of getting people in at a lower cost.Since the
schedule seems to be heavy on Wednesday, maybe a promotion for buy
one adult ticket and get one childs free could get the families
down for at least a few games. The paper article sounds like they
might be after a radio deal. This to me would be the greatest move
if we could get home and away games on the radio again. |

| I wonder if the Hall of Fame room is a thing of the past, too. I really kinda liked having a post-game hangout. |

According to what I heard at the news conference the Hall of Fame room is still planned for next season.
Also, I have to agree with Gonz. Let's keep a positive attitude about the upcoming season. Be happy we have Cyclones hockey for another season. The feeling I got at the news conference was one of get the fans back and keep them happy. Also, get the team out into the community again and make the Cyclone name a household word. They are also working on getting a radio contract. Let's not try to second guess or get into a negative, suspicious position about things that we don't know about. Go with the good news...free parking for season ticket holders, reduced ticket prices for season ticket holders, promotions, etc. that are planned for this season. I also know that Chico will be working hard to get a great bunch of players together for the 2003-2004 season. Think positive! Just my 2 cents worth. |
