The "fans" at tonight's game were just plain embarassing. They made the entire fan-base look like a bunch of low-class slobs. The Wranglers played a good game of hockey, which didn't go our way, unfortunately. There is no reason to dump garbage on them as they are leaving the ice. That is simply disrespectful and uncalled for. I hope each one of them has a nice night in the slammer! :-)
What is wrong with these morons? ...And it wasn't even $1 beer night! |

| well, i to am really pissed at the drunks who keep thowing bottles on the ice...these kind of people who do this are probably the "bandwagon fans" |

| I actually watched a long-long timer, or avid Clone fan lob a bottle tonight. Sometimes we allow our emotions get the better of us, the fan was pointed out and was actually spoke to by security...and I use that term lightly, and she returned back to her seat. Emotions are running high. Hell, what makes one a "jackass" as many of you refer them as, and a passionate Cyclones fan is self control. How many of you wanted to wing a bottle at the ref after Ceddy was plowed? I don't condone lobbing bottles however I for one felt that that really wasn't one of the best officiated games i've seen, and never in my life have I ever walked out of an arena actually mad at a linesmen |

SCUBA - I'm completely disagree. No matter how you felt about officiating or how much of a longtime/loyal Cyclones fan you are, you don't throw stuff on the ice, and you certainly don't get excused for it just because you're a loyal fan or because officiating was bad. If you can't be in "self control" as you call it and refrain from chucking an object on the ice, you shouldn't be there, fan/bandwagoner/loyal fan/jackass, anybody.
It is a sport, not someone threatening you or your family where you have to act in self defense and throw something. So to answer your question as to who wanted to chuck a bottle when Cedrick got plowed, I wasn't. Believe it or not those actions DO make Cincinnati fans look bad and classless considering they rarely happen in other buildings. Just leave the game peacefully. Hell, last night they were thrown after a big win. What's the excuse there? I have more respect for both the players, building, and city to do that. |

| Scuba, I was in the parking lot and stupid Vegas fans started throwing crap at my car! It's bad enough I had to haul ass to the arena from the airport and forget to leave my bag in the car... those people had to try to vandalize my car with me in it! Pathetic! |

I couldn't agree with you more C'hole. Wildman needs to break out his best Sam Wyche impersination "Would anybody seeing the next person who trows anyhthing onto the field (ice) point him out to security so he can be kicked out?! YOU DON'T LIVE IN CLEVELAND - YOU LIVE IN CINCINNATI!!"
Heck, I caught and defalted the beach ball that was bouncing up around 128. They didn't waste any time tonight that the first thing lobbed onto the ice will result in a penalty. We were already short handed when that thing started bouncing around. I am loud and proud of the 'Clones and want to see the boys win, not go shorthanded because of some jackass.
The really pathetic thing, I saw a guy a few rows in front of me lob a beer bottle onto the ice. About two minutes later he bends down to pick up his 1 - 2 year old kid. Jeez, isn't that setting a good example to raise a fine upstanding kid? UGH! |

It's great that the clones are filling the place, but I can do without the bouncy-balls, the beer tossing, the Wave, and now that. It is just a shame that Cncinnati isn't more hockey-oriented. Perhaps with time |

| Dude, it wasn't me. Tone down the personal overtones. I've never lobbed anything except for a teddy bear and a frozen fish back in the IHL/garden days. You guys are harping on the Bandwagon folks and I simply said I saw a Loyal Clone fan Lob a bottle. Anyone whom says they haven't done anything they regreted later is a lying. Anyone who is passinate about anything has done something in the heat of the moment defending what they are passionate about. It was a sickning loss tonight and I turned just as a mountain dew when whizing by my head. As for the Whole classless thing. I think the actions of a few doesn't define a city as a whole. The message boards are a buzz with wrangler fans whom acknowelge that a few bottles do not classify the fan base. I'm not into this whole argument thing with ya tonight, because our views are the same. I would have liked not to see the bottles thrown and I don't condone it. I can see why it happens however, tempers flare and I felt that we had lost tonight to a team we outplayed. |

What disgusted my most was their aim. No direct hits. Not even a glancing blow.
Perhaps by June 5th (if necessary) their aim will have improved.

| The throwing bottles is a big problem, don't get me wrong. I bring along my 5 month old and my two year old, and I would be pretty miffed if a bottle found it's way into my daughters car seat. My opinion is I wouldn't do it...yes, i've felt like it, but didn't do it. I just wouldn't lose sleep over it because it happened. As for the beach ball, just good clean fun as far as i'm concerned. It used to happen at EVERY game and no one got that excited about it then. The problem arises when someone is hell bent and getting it to the Ice. Sorry my opinions are not that popular...I'm really a nice guy |

I noticed the camera guy between the player benches focusing in on the area most of the bottles were coming from after the game. I hope the Arena organization can use the pics to catch whatever trash threw them.
It is classless, especially when the actions of a few reflect on outsiders' perceptions of the entire crowd. |

I was wondering "to the fullest extent" was for throwing stuff on the ice. So I asked a cop just to see at the game. IF a bottle hits a player you could be charged with Felonious assult. Force with a deadly weapon. Max in jail is 8 years in conviced "to the fullest extent" For throwing a bottle could land you in jail up to 30 days plus fines up to 1000 dollars then lawyer fees.

I think the Cyclones,the arena and the Cincinnati police should get together and agree on
a standard fine for anyone throwing ANYTHING on the ice that doesn't hit a player directly.
I think a $500 fine is good and post this up on every third glass.The second step is enforce
it and put the people's mug shots both in the paper and on a display out front for everyone
to see. It's funny how shame can make alot a people think the second time about an idiot move. |

Kudos on getting the beach ball....BUT, why didn't you report the bottle thrower? Not doing so makes you as guilty as the one who threw it.... |
