We were thinking of taking up a collection the next time 218 went out to the bar (aka every night) but then we remembered that our alcohol consumption is more important than... well... pretty much anything that has to do with your team. So... sorry. |

| I saw two little kids (around 8-10 yrs old) tossing bottles onto the ice... but some dude was about to get his @$$ beat if it wasn't for his friend holding him back... No matter how angry you are, do not throw stuff. Think people! |

Jericho, you're just pissed because the Cyclones came into the ECHL and started kicking A$$! We've had some wonderful fans from Dayton sitting in front of us for a lot of the playoff games; they know how to appreciate a winning team! |

ummm - when did I say was pissed off about anything your team is doing?
I didn't.
As a matter of fact, I've said on here a number of times I hope you win. I've only been down for one playoff game because my life and/or my job have kept me busy.
Still isn't going to stop me from bagging on your fan base, arena, etc. You know why? It's fun. |

yah... almost as much as it's gotta suck to have someone find your "glowing endorsement" of Boy Meets World on the interwebs.

BEST SERIES, 19 October 2004 Author: RyDawgW from Hamilton, Ohio
I can't believe people would say this series was horrible. Boy Meets World is an exciting episode that gives teenagers a meaning of life and it teaches them about life. It's a comedy and makes me laugh. Mr. Feeny is the MAN! Everyone can learn a little something about life by this television series and it's nice to see the kids all grown up after watching the first series and seeing how Shawn and Cory are still friends and TOpanga and cory together and it's an exciting adventure every time you watch an episode of Boys Meet World. People in this TV series are people that are in the world today and if you don't' think it this TV series is a one of a kind then you better start watching more Boy Meets World.
...lulz!
So yah, I've been playing nice with all you bastards for the entire post-season because I thought it was the right thing to do. You know what it ended up doing? Boring the crap out of me!
Yes, Dayton plays in a POS college arena. If you haven't had a chance to listen to ANYTHING I'VE SAID FOR THE LAST 2 YEARS... I hate the Nutter Center. It's a horrible crap hole and I'd rather we play ANYWHERE but there.
Begging for people to come watch our team? Do I need to scan all of the comp tickets Neederlander has given me over the past few years? To put it bluntly, I've paid to go to one game in your arena (whether or not Dayton was playing) in the last two years. No coupons, no media pass, no nothing. You guys did it right when you lowered ticket costs after the first of the year. It was a smart move. Will it last? Only time will tell. I hope it does. God knows the north needs more than the one stable team it has right now in Reading. As far as attendance in Dayton, how's about you let us worry about that and you can go on and play more guitar hero.
... and as far as Bucky goes... that's the best you've got? Ragging on a mascot that I don't even remember exists half the time?
Pathetic.
Anyway... we drink more beer than you, we have more fun than you, we certainly piss off more players than you and we honestly don't give a damn about you.
btw - my little sister has season 1 of Boy Meets World on DVD. I'm sure if I call her you can borrow it if you want, pretty sure she'll throw in a few my little ponies and a box of tissues for you as well.

To all the non-idiot Cincinnati fans. I know there's a few of you out there... remind these kids who they are dealing with. |

I think this thread has gone on long enough!!!!
We all know that these incidents of bottle/cups/superball throwing were the results of those that DO NOT KNOW the meaning of being a true sports fan! Bandwagon and Occassional sport fans can be an embaressment to any team/sport/city, and anger those that support their teams no matter what the outcome of the game. Rivalry is part of the game and should be a fun way for fans to interact with one another. BUT it can be taken too far! It can also take interaction to a (for want of a better word) nasty level of altercation!
THINK BEFORE YOU ACT is not done enough and results in poor judgement and actions that may give you instant gratification, but often makes you regret later that you reacted that way.

OH! DAGGER THROUGH THE HEART!! Got me on the TV review!! You dug deep for that one lol....
It's really pathetic when you have to do research on me to give a good comeback.. it's okay though.. I'll take it. Tell your sister I don't need season 1.. I have all 3
What's wrong with Guitar hero? Are you upset that you are not any good at it?? That's okay too. That orange button can get in the way sometimes.
I never said anything about Nutter Center being a POS. Rated the 8th best arena. |

Hey Everyone,
I've been a long time Cyclones fan and wanted to say my two cents. I have only thrown 2 types of items on the ice (both were when the game was stopped). 1) The chuck-a-puck puck and 2) a hat for Gilbert Dionne's hat trick during the Cincy All Star game.
I agree with Jopuckman's assessment of throwing items on the ice is very disrespectful. Remember, these players (on both teams) are playing for the love of the game not money like some players on teams to the west of the arena.
I know that fans may become irratated with bad calls, but a good team will always find a way to overcome these obsticals. |
Cyclones hockey. A championship caliber team in a city of losers. |
