My hockey withdraw plan is to save up and go to the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto the week of Labor Day with my Cyclones jersey and Kelly Cup Champions gear and get a pic of me and the Stanley Cup.... plus, that week is also my birthday (September 4) and I hope to get a big plan going to celebrate.... thinking about THAT is my hockey withdraw... by that time it will be training camp time and I will be happy again!

I'd be up for some Section 60 hockey as would James. Sounds like a lot of fun!

Hockey Season is not over- Just the our CYCLONES SEASON...There is always HOCKEY NEWS to talk about. HOCKEY SEASON goes all 12 months;)

I'm still playing NHL08 and NHL2k8 on the xbox360. It's fun playing NHL08 because there are a number of Cyclones players on the rosters of the AHL teams on the game.

And an interesting read here for you STINGERS fans out there-

September 9th is when NHL 09 comes out.. everyone buy it and search for Cyclone players in the AHL system and play as them.

Or you could download the Genesis version of NHL '93 on your computer along with the editor that allows you to create a much better ECHL than those silly newer NHL games

I'll stick to watching minor league baseball and NOT feeling obligated to drive to Cincinnati all the time! :)

If anyone is down for it, I wouldn't mind going to Open Hockey up at Northalnds every once and a while if anyone is interested. I'm a goalie so at least 1 will be there.

CYCLONES HOCKEY!

I can't seem to pull myself away from this website. And, my boyfriend and I have also talked about learning how to skate. He also plans on teaching me to play golf... so I am up for anything.

Hockey ended just in time for Euro2008! <crickets> I'll be watching.

A bit of advice for those of you learning to skate: either get the rental skates sharpened or go to Play it Again sports and get a pair of used skates ($20 or more). It will make it much easier.
