Still no source cited by the MOE ron who posted the silly rumor. It was probably just a ploy to stir up interest on a dead web site. There hadn't been a single post in over a week except for a stupid thread about some aggregate site posting numbers.
I can't imagine not going to a hockey game because one person (out of the thousands who attend any given game) told me that I wouldn't be welcome. I guess I don't have a need to be loved by all.
I also can't imagine believing that I was so important that not attending games would matter one iota to the franchise. |

| Hahahahahaha SO hilarious. First of all I was a devoted Ducks fan. Heckler STILL gives me **** for it but I'm alright with that! Can I just say that reading that stupid message board had me afraid of coming to a Cyclones game. Thank God I have my own brain and didn't let it stop me. They seriously had me thinking that if I wore one of my GW Ducks jerseys to USBA it would be damaged or worse. I have worn them and had no problems and def a Cyclones fan now! I just wish everyone would grow up act their age and quit worrying about this "hockey war" that was how long ago? It's hockey people. If you aren't willing to support the team in town regardless of their name then don't call yourself a devoted/true hockey fan because you aren't one. And that goes to people on BOTH sides of this "war." I enjoyed my days as a Ducks fan and I am enjoying them now as a Cyclones fan. Regardless of the team name in town, I will be in attendance! My advice is to not even worry about those people who can't get over it. Don't believe half the **** they say because we have heard it all! Not even worth anyones time! |

| Don, they ARE idiots! What other reason can you give for the false statements for the past 3 years. The folding, moving and new team coming to the Gardens BS. And they are disgruntled. They have no team to root for at the arena they love so much. They bash the only hockey team in the area. That is being disgruntled! If you wanna stick up for em so much, just go be with them over there. But be careful, true statements, and giving the moderator a dose of his own medicine will get you booted like it did me twice! But like others have said...come on down to a game and I'll buy you a drink. Heck, I'll give you the $10 for your ticket. You might even have fun!!! |

I was banned 3 times myself over on the
other board for telling the truth. And they said
it's the only board where you can do that. YEA Right
Thank you Jim for a true place where we can speak our
minds and tell the Truth. The funny thing about my Banned
is it said i was banned by Donnie Hockey and when I ask
Him why for the banned. He said it wasn't him that banned me??
And they said they don't have ppl using more the one user name
But I will let you guys be the judge of that. |

Don, you should know by now that you can't control what spews out of some peoples mouths. Especially when dollar beers are involved  . I don't know who you were lashed by but if that holds you back, I don't know what to say.
As far as reading the other site, I personally like some of those involved. I may not agree with some of their thinking but that's fine. I personally know three, Don, Jim, and AHIGH, and to me, I get along with them fine. Others, WHO CARES ABOUT !!! I go and read sometimes but not very often. It gets boring reading the same stuff every other week. Y A W N !!!
I haven't been to a "Clones game yet this season because of two main things. Money and time. We will get to a few, just not as many as I'd like to !!! |

| hrc is a problem because he wonders why you would not attend hockey games because of something one person said? Hardly. If said fan told you to jump off a bridge, would you? I'm seriously not trying to sir the pot here (although I'm sure you'll take it that way), but why bother what someone like that says to you? It's their opinion, just as you have your opinions of not liking people on this board like a couple that you just listed. Don't you think you're giving them what they wanted by you not coming to the games, having listened to them? |

Perhaps if you had seen or been aware of some of the comments that have been made by Cycloens fans over the years you'd have a better understanding in regards to my decision not to attend any games this season.

Oh, I know you. Aside from hockey games I've seen you at UC football games. Wouldn't it be great to have the kind of atmosphere the Bearcats had this past season at hockey games again?

I'm not new to this, Donnie, you should have done your homework, having been posting since the original CincySports board since 04. I've seen immaturity spewed by fans of both teams. Doesn't mean I would not go to games because a fan(s) (be it 1 or 100) told me not to or that I wasn't welcome there. Oh and I have seen hrc/Cyclones Rock's post ... he speaks the truth and is one of the most knowledgeable hockey fans I know. I find your signature comical and ironic considering you still bring up stuff like having e-mails that someone that doesn't even know you. May I humbly add that they are-without any doubt-the most informative, knowledgeable, insightful, humorous and well-written posts on that board
I have deleted my account there. The bitter ones are almost pathological in their hatred of the Cyclones. But, who cares. There are now (with my retirement ) only 4 regular posters on that sorry excuse of a board. I must be brain dead for posting there as long and as often as I did. . But, as Mark (cyclonehole) once described that site: It's like a train wreck that you just can't stop looking at. I'm done with that train wreck. Amen.
And, once again, any one person who thinks that if they stay away from the games and don't put forth any effort into bringing others to games that they will have ANY impact upon the future of the team is overwrought with self importance and delusional.

| I could easily organize a group of 250 or more to see a Cyclones game but according to hrc666 that would have no impact even though 250 is more than 1/4 of what the team has drawn for several games this season. And let's say out of that 250, about 180 of them would probably, after seeing their first hockey game, come back to see a second game and bring one or more people with them which would take that initial 250 to more than 300. Yeah, you're right hrc666, I am just one person that can't make any impact whatsoever. |
