Getting ready to head to Dayton to see if we can stay out of the basement. Just think, if we were in the AHL, we would still have a shot for the playoffs! |

IT'S OURS,IT'S OURS!!!! The number one star for Dayton,Chris Cichocki
and his fabulous bunch of no names from Cincinnati. Last night was the
first time I was glad the season was over. Told all the Dayton people
to go easy on us because we may be Dayton fans next year.Chris Cichocki
deserves to have his jersey hanging from the rafters,but with him still
in it.You closed Arkansa down and now Cincinnati.How about a job at the
Gardens! |

One thing good about last night was we helped Dayton possibly keep their
team with the big crowd.One of their fans gave me a ticket tip-they give
a discount for Triple-A. Maybe I'll have to try this next year when I
go see my hockey.Love the rumors that were floating around:
1.Ducks folding
2.Blue jackets moving there AHL to Cincinnati
Our stupid hockey picture would be the Arena gets the AHL franchise,then
the following year the Gardens crank the ECHL franchise back up that we
shut down and both go belly up again.Oh the fun of Cinti hockey!!! |

Love the free parking at Dayton but what about the concession lines!
I waited all 1st period break for 10 people served before I threw the
towel in.Went back with 3 minutes left in the 2nd and finally got out
with 5 minutes left before the 3rd started. Worst part was their fans
think this is normal! |

Don't you just love the warped ideas you can come up with when talking
Cincinnati hockey Gonzoid! I can't even remember when we weren't facing
some kind of new league/new owner/ no hockey type rumors floating with
the Cyclones.Throw in the Mr. Cyclone/Snowbird/Clawd/Jester/Twister
mascot and stable is never heard when talking about the Cyclones.
That is what has made this message board so fun most times. |

Having worked for Sportservice here and St. Louis, short staff and long lines IS the norm! Their mentality is if you can squeeze a dime out of a nickle, they'll do it! I once ran a 16-register stand by myself at Busch Stadium because the volunteer group didn't show. Management waited until I had sold over $1500 in brats, nachos & beer before they decided that it MIGHT be a good idea to send me some help!
Kathy had the same problem getting a hotdog for Tyler. When she got back, the dog was green & white and slimy, but he ate it anyway - YUCK! |
