Due to the events of this week, the Board of Directors of the Cincinnati Cyclones Fan Club have cancelled next week's General Meeting.
Also, to remain fiscally responsible, but still keep fans informed, they are to remain as a viable entity, but to go into financial hibernation. The Fan Club website will be transferring over to the free Yahoo! GeoCities address at the end of the month.
Starting May 1st, all information on functions, road trips and news will be available on http://www.geocities.com/cyclonesfanclub/. I will be integrating a free photo site for those that have pictures they wish to share - just email them to me. Also, the President of the Fan Club can be reached through the email address assigned by Yahoo! with the site.
The team IS determined to be back in some form for the 2005-06 season (Matt wouldn't/couldn't elaborate). Once that announcement is made, and details are made available, the Club will pull everything out of mothballs and be off and running again.
To stay in the loop, please make sure the Fan Club has your current information (address, phone, email, etc.).
Keep the faith and GO CYCLONES! |

As part of the transformation, I've set up a site to archive photos of the Cyclones that I can link to the Fan Club site. It's obviously still a work-in-progress, but you can see how it's coming along at http://www.picturecd.com/sharing/viewalbum.html?bm=32774.
Also, if you have any picture you want to share on there, email them to me! The site only accepts JPG format and it's best if the file is in low resolution (50 to 96 pixels per inch) and cropped for size purposes (takes a while to upload at 56k )
Keep hope alive for Cyclones 2005! |
