The three of us and Fan Club Prez, S. C., went up to Reading this weekend to see Game 3 between Reagan Rome's Reading Royals and Tom Rouleau's Wheeling Nailers (Tom was on the IR, but he was there)!
Reagan looked great out there and the Reading people were wonderful to us. It was their first home playoff game ever and they drew over 5000, even with the big AND little Phillies playing at home and the Flyers down the street. We all had a wonderful time, especially Tyler, who instantly fell in love with their mascot, Slapshot the Lion.
The Royals are up 2 games to one on the Eastern Conference's top team with Game 4 Tuesday night! Alaska already bumped of the Brabham Cup champs - hopefully Reading can pull a 2003 Cyclones on the Nailers...

P.S. Reagan, April and Tom all say HI and they miss Cincinnati! |

Hey CYCFAN,thats just plain cruel. I guess we made too many negative
comments about Randy that they felt he was perfect for us. If we would
have praised him, he would have been gone!Hey Turfway Park, I know a
minor league hockey franchise you could get for a nice 10,000 seat
arena.BUILD IT AND WE WILL COME!!! |
