Who says there is no interest in the Cyclones.I just checked the Cyclones
website and before I could get it posted,you beat me to it!It is good to
see a "veteran" and even better when it's a second generation to a big
Cincinnati hockey name. So far I give the team an A- on putting together
a team and the minus may be a plus if they know Montreal is sending some
goaltending help and that is why none of them has been signed. |

I agree on the team coming together ... and also, I checked the site to see the update and someone at the CincySports message boards already had already beat me to it. Yes, there are fans.  |

My friends there are plenty of fans. The city is excited about getting their hockey team back. The Cincinnati Cyclones. I will wager they will avg 3500 a game.

| I'd like to share your optimism about the 3,400 fans CDH but I'm a bit more skeptical than that. i do find it encouraging though that they are doing things like teaming up with the Freedom to promote minor league sports in the city. I hope a year from now I'm coming back here to say you were right and I was wrong. |

A 3,500 average is a bit of a stretch, yes, but I admire CFH's support. Let's hope ...
Also, anyone notice that on the roster page they have listed Riley Day's position as "defensiveman?" At least Martin's and Mohr's are right ... |

3500 fans is not a stretch if the team does some serious marketting.The Freedom
does a good job of promotions and making the fans feel welcome.The Marshals did
a great job of the fans at the games for enviroment, but giving out 2 year old
corn-hole tournament t-shirts will dampen the mood of the fans.Look at almost
every big crowd and a giveaway item was center stage.This will be the first year
in how long that WE are the only game in town.If we have an exciting team playing
and some help from the press,4500 average with some 6500 plus nights is very much
possible.It's a shame the city likes to close off the free parking on the river
because some $3 or less parking at close range would really help. |
