Just listened to the Press Conference.
The Eagles are in the E.
They're going to be in the West. Not sure what Division. I'm guessing they'll be in the Mountain Division, along with Alaska, Idaho, and Utah. |

That's a nice addition. I hope it brings some more balance to the inequitable playoff format in the Western Conference.

I wouldn't mind maybe one trip west to play a few of the western teams. Sure would beat playing Toledo-Wheeling-Kalamazoo over and over again !

Absolutely. Would be nice if some of the Western teams came here as well. Not likely, but would be nice. |

Doesn't look like some of the western teams will be here. Some teams have their schedule set, with the exceptions of Colorado, Utah, and Idaho. Some notable dates for the Cyclones on the road are..... Nov. 19 at Chicago, Oct. 22 in Reading and Jan. 7 and 8 in Elmira. Those are some Saturday games that the family and I might be attending. Also we are the home opener for K-Zoo. Don't have the date handy but that info should be on their website. |
What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I knew it was going to happen.... the CHL and IHL fell apart so fast they tried a merger and it still fell apart...
I said to myself when Bossier and Colorado reached the final, "Why should I care? Both of these teams are gone no matter who wins!"
With that said, Colorado dominated alongside Laredo every year in the CHL... So I am happy to see them test their mettle in the ECHL. Let us see how many Kelly Cups they can add to the two President's Cups they already have in their possession |
KELLY CUP CHAMPIONS- 2008, 2010 AMERICAN/EASTERN CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS- 2008, 2010, 2014 DIVISION CHAMPIONS- 1996, 2008, 2009, 2013 2008 BRABHAM CUP CHAMPIONS Boards + visitors = broken bones! |

| Actually, I thought Rapid City was their big rival. I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see them make the jump to the E next year or the year after. |

| I have heard, but nothing official Rapid City is trying to get in now. The ECHL has changed schedules after one has been released in the past to add a team. If RC doesn't get in for this year I am willing to bet they are doing everything in their power to get in for 2012-13. |

Not sure Rapid City makes much sense geographically. The nearest city in the Eastern Conference is Chicago which is 900 miles away by bus and 1200 miles from Cincinnati. In the Western Conference, Loveland CO is only 365 miles away but the nearest other team is over 1300 miles away. I suppose it could be a second destination for air trips for western teams flying into Colorado but putting a team in western South Dakota doesn't seem to be the ideal expansion scenario.

Why not? All the Western Conference teams fly to each other cities anyways. I think RC is an excellent addition. They have a good fan base, and arena. Also teams can play in Colorado Friday night, and bus over to RC for a Saturday night game. |
