Thats good--probably means Shalla is here for the rest of playoffs--I hope. Don't think there is anyone else on the Clones playoff roster in Milwaukee.
Cam Reid and Anthony Bitetto are both playoff eligible - however we have hit the 23 man roster cap already and therefore arent allowed to have any other players sent down. So no hope for either of those 2 ads players, or Luciani or Hazen either.
Im not 100% on how the rules work - but from what ive read, once 23 people have been added to the active playoff roster - that locks in who you can have. So even if Shalla got called up again - we cant replace him.
teams have to name their 23 man roster ahead of playoffs. all have to have played at least five games with the team during the season. If you have played five games and not named as part of the 23 then you are not on the roster ( Reid and Biletto) and cannot play.The team can dress 20 players from the 23 (18 and 2 goalies) If someone is injured then someone else from the 23 has to dress with special rules for goalies
Close but not quite dbc. You have to name your 20 man playoff roster, then you can name an unlimited amount of playoff eligible players. Once you hit 23 - your roster is locked in. Even for injury - the roster is still locked unless you go under 2 goalies or 16 skaters.
We had 7 playoff eligible players listed. McFarland, Wilson and Shalla were the 3 were received. It would have been nice if we could have got Luciani back too, he was such a key part of the team all year its not fair to him to miss out - but also wouldnt be fair to give Matt Smyth the boot just in case Luciani came back.
