Naturally the team that loses always complains about the officials, the team that wins......not so much but on that delay of game penalty that led to a 5-3 power play and eventually a score for Gwinett, is that a subjective call or is it automatic. I though the league changed the call to only concern goaltenders lifting a puck in their own zone out of play.....and the officials again were awful
I know for sure it's automatic in NHL games. He really sent it, too, so it looked pretty bad. It wasn't even close to staying in play. I truly hate that rule universally, but I understand the spirit of it.
Separately, I think the Cyclone got outplayed. They had some nice chances, but couldn't convert. I hope it'll be different tonight.
