| FM 100 changed their format today and canned all the on air staff. Guess radio is up in the air again. Shows how close to the margin these stations are that they only give them months to succeed. |

| 96 Rock, 1360, 1530, now 100... what is next? 700 WLW? How about Warm 98? or Q102? will we ever find a radio station to call our own??? |

And don't forget 1050 AM. Unfortunately, I can't imagine there is a large listenership for Cyclone games, so there probably aren't a lot of radio stations clamoring to carry them. It made sense for 100 The Fan to broadcast the games as they tried to become locally relevant in the market. I hope they can find a new radio home.
Cincinnati doesn't even have a local affiliate for Blue Jacket NHL games. That went away after about the second season. |

| refresh my memory... when were they on 1050? when I am on the road working I have to count on the internet for my Cyclones fix... but when I am here I want to hear it on radio... WCFN doesnt have to ditch the Clones... lets hope they dont.... unless Tom Joyner doesnt like hockey |

| and the first thing was not sarcasm lol just to clarify... I never knew they were on 1050, and if they were that was obviously 22 or 23 years ago long before I even knew what hockey was lol |

I believe they were on 1050 about 2 or 3 seasons ago. It was just one season. |

I flipped on what used to be The Fan last night on the way home from work & they were playing music. Couldn't really determine the genre but this was @ 4:30. Sorry to hear that the staff were all fired.
Here's also hoping that Game Time Sports Bar will continue to be the "home away from home" gathering spot to watch the games. :-) |
Hockey is life. All the rest is just small stuff.
