The Cincinnati Swords (formerly the Queen City Steam) start their season this weekend with games against the St. Louis Jr. Blues on Saturday September 7th (7:00 start time) and Sunday September 8th (1:00 start time). Game are played at SportsPlus in Evendale. Admission is only $5.00. Need a hockey fix? Come on out and cheer them on. |
What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Thanks to all who came out Saturday night. Awesome game with the Swords scoring with 2 minutes left in the 3rd to win it 4-3. Sunday the Swords scored 2 power play goals in the 3rd to win 3-2. St Louis is a power house in this league, winning the regular season title last season. Next home game is Saturday October 26th against the Wisconsin Whalers. |

The Queen City Hockey Association merged with the Cincinnati Amateur Hockey Association. They decided to adopt a neutral name rather than continue using one or the other so that neither organization was perceived as "taking over".
Apparently, this weekends games in Cincinnati were the talk of the league. Other coaches in the league are trying to figure out if the Jr Blues are fading or if the Swords are on the upswing. |

The St. Louis team has been 1 of the best teams in the league, even when it was the CSHL. Most of their team has been together for quite some time. From what I saw this past weekend they are still a good team. In my opinion they are not fading, but the Swords are on the upswing. |

Yes that is the site. You can also go to their old site (http://queencitysteam.pointstreaksites.com/view/cshlqueencity) and it will take you to the junior A team site. |

Wes, I don't think the website is very user friendly. How is one supposed to find the schedule for the Swords? |
Hockey is life. All the rest is just small stuff.

Susan, go to this site http://queencitysteam.pointstreaksites.com/view/cshlqueencity The home schedule is on the home page. Or you can go to the league website http://www.na3hl.com/ You can access their complete schedule there. |

The team is on a 10 game road trip which equals out to 5 weekends. Their next home game is on October 26th against the Metro Jets (Detroit area team). They are coached by Jason Cirone, a former Cyclone. Got him to autograph his Cyclones trading card they gave out when he played here.
Oops......wrong opponent. That day is against the Wisconsin Whalers, not the Metro Jets. |
