| I think with the Panthers signing Tim Thomas that should simple things out and Pickard may be the odd man out most likely. Madore is signed by the Cyclones, Houser is a FLA prospect, Dov will be in San Antonio as is probably Markstrom again if Clemmonson is healthy. But I doubt Chet will be in a Cyclones uniform |

Chet was released.
Clemmensen will stay in Florida as it's unlikely he'll clear waivers if he's sent to San Antonio.
Dov and Houser will be the duo in San Antonio.
Thomas wasn't signed to be the #1 in Florida. He's likely a stop gap until Markstrom is healthy. Once Markstrom proves to be healthy Thomas will likely be released or traded for a bag of used practice pucks. That being said, Clemmensen has had his own injury issues over the years so I won't be surprised if FLA looks for a way to keep Thomas around just in case.
Either way, the only way we see Houser is if Markstrom is slow to rehab or has issues finding his game after his injury and has to spend a prolonged rehab stint in San Antonio. |
