On Snowbird,if I remember the Cincinnati Zoo bought the rights to Snowbird
so they may have it.If so,maybe a zoo promotion might be what it takes. |

Well, Twister, I still think you should hit the schools during the Tornado Safety Weeks in Spring.
You are after all, an F5.
On a similar note, an opening night idea:
Arena is dark, the weather alert signal sounds, followed by the NOA computer voice, "The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for US Bank Arena effective immediately"
Then ThunderStruck plays with the opening video.
Might be a good fire-up.

Like the idea with two changes.First,skip the siren because anyone who has gone
through a tornado never wants to hear that.Follow the announcement with Twister
coming out with a slow lights up to the music. You could even add the Cyclones
players skating around Twister in the middle. If that doesn't fire the fans up
nothing will! |

I wasnt thinking siren as much as that tone you hear on the radio, or on the weather channel.
Air raid sirens kindof freak me out too.

| Twister, I think you mean the IHL All-Star game here, not the AHL. It was played here in 1999. It was a great game to attend, largely due to Dionne's success and being the MVP of the game. |

yeah, my bad. It was the IHL allstar game. I'll take that idea about opening night into consideration. Sounds like a good idea. I am always up to good ideas.

| ok that hand stand was nice twister..bags thats a great idea and then those older hockey fans that stopped coming would come (maybe some out of towners?)but i try to get poeople to come ALL the time..i wanted my school to do the education in hockey day.. but my dean never responded. i tried to get my cosmo class to go as a group and for a while they were all going then one by one they dropped like flies... and now our class is too..but im trying to get fans... my math teacher came to a game and is comingto one on friday.. |

| ok i agree witht the opening night thing... but wee need a better entrance for the games...i went to wheeling the game before our sunday game and there entrance was preety coo.i dont care for wheeling abut i dod like that entrance. |
