I was looking around all the sites and can't find any mention of Dov going to Manitoba.I do see that Wade Flaherty was hurt in their game last night.Too bad Ben Gray wasn't still around. I wonder if they tried for Cedrick and had to settle for Dov.I hope Manitoba has a good goalie coach that can maybe help Dov on his weaknesses.We still need him or a legit backup for the remainder of the year.
this is precisely why i thought Chuck would hang onto Ben. With all the injuries MTL has had (as far as goaltenders go) and the fact that Dov has also been called up a few times seems like a legitmate reason to carry three goaltenders into the playoffs. Now what happens when/if MTL needs Cedrick?! I would hardly feel comfortable with an "emergency backup" carrying the team the rest of the way....

CINCINNATI - The Cincinnati Cyclones announced that goaltender Dov Grumet-Morris has been signed by the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League.
Selected by the Philadelphia Flyers in the fifth round (161st overall) in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft and in his second professional season, the 24-year-old is 11-8-3 with goals-against average of 2.78 and a save percentage of .909 in 22 games with Cincinnati.
It is the fourth call up to the AHL for Grumet-Morris, who is 1-6-3 with a shutout and goals-against average of 3.03 in 11 games with Portland and 1-0-1 with a shutout and goals-against average of 0.96 in two games with Hamilton.
Cincinnati is the ECHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League and the Hamilton Bulldogs of the AHL.
