| Didn't we though? I guess Michael Flannery driving the zamboni was our entertainment. Gee...thanks. Isn't it funny, alot of their season ticket holders are women, and this is what we get. A boring calendar and Michael Flannery on the zamboni. |

Bring it up to Troy Murphy. He's the guy who took over Allen Chapa's job after Chapa headed to AZ.
We're at a brick wall now, folks, but I'm sure we'll see sunny days. |

"BRICK WALL" is a perfect phrase to use for the promotion department. Haven't these people ever taken time to check out other team's promotions? Oh well, at least we have "TWISTER", the walking ash tray.

Again, bring it up to Troy Murphy. It's his job... and if you think he isn't doing it he deserves a chance to hear it.
And let's get happy, folks! |

After 3 years of trying to get something for just the ladies I was VERY disappointed. No effort at all and a calendar that was presented to EVERYONE....given to kids! No discount on tickets, 2 for 1, free coke, NOTHING! I think a lot of that has to do with there not being a female in the Cyclones organization. I feel like they took our request for a 'special night' as a joke and I don't appreciate it.
I feel we are NOT respected even tho I'll bet a lot of the season ticket holders are female. Very lame indeed. But, boy, do they go all out for "melt the ice" night.....discrimination. I say IF they don't make a GENIUNE effort next year that we boycott! What do you say ladies?
It's easy for men to make a joke of it and think it is funny because they got 'their' night. I'm sure they will think this is trivial but to the majority of ladies it is not. And, don't give me this line about it being a 'family atmosphere'......there were families at the bikini night!

Instead of b!tching about it here, tell it to Troy, Pat, heck, even Dave.
Let them know. Get vocal. |

I have to say that I do agree with everything 'Mom' posted. So....Paul Lawless and Pat Pylypuik, I know you read this board, have someone let us know about the female season ticket holders. How many female season ticket holders are there? Enough to make a difference if we weren't here? I think so. Please give up the excuse that "this is a family atmosphere". There were plenty of kids at the bikini contest to make that statement a lie. Honestly, do I care if we have a ladies night? No. Just get rid of the bikini contest. Afraid of upsetting the male season ticket holders? I believe you are. Hey, what's fair is fair. Give us some R-E-S-P-E-C-T. |

I remember the "ladies night" promotion with the Chippendale dancers. All us men got the biggest laugh when the one jumped out of the limo and fell right on his butt! They could have given out a rose to the first 3000 women, or given a ticket price break to any female. How about bringing in some people to give hair cuts or nail painting for the ladies. I do agree it was a slap in the face to call it "Ladies Night". |

This is one male season ticket holder who could care less if they continue the Melt the Ice contest. It's the same girls every year.
As far as everything else the organization is doing, I see a problem. If members of the Cyclones staff read this board and take this as bitching, so be it. But I see an organization who's biggest problem appears to be communication. I have in front of me the letter sent out to season ticket holders on May 3, 2002. It lists as perks the Hall of Fame Dinner (when is this?) and having your picture taken on the ice with the team (when is this?). Then I go back to the original press release on promotions. For NASCAR Night, it states "a NASCAR-theme night on Saturday, January 11 featuring a top-named driver to be announced". Who was it? January 24 was listed as "2000 Cyclones Beer Mugs". Where were they? Last night was suppose to include a "Cincinnati Zoo Exhibit". Didn't see that either. I hate to say it, but the organization seem more interested in selling Arena Football tickets than hockey tickets. For the record, I don't give a rats ass about NASCAR or beer mugs or Zoo exhibits. I go to Cyclones games to watch hockey. BUT, we need to get other people to the games if we want to keep this team going. I love the Cyclones. Hell, my licence plate should tell you that. I want this team in Cincinnati for years to come, but don't see the effort being put out. Maybe I'm missing something.
By the way, it is only fair to list the positives of the team also. I feel the trip to Europe was one of the best thing any Cincinnati sports organization has ever done for their season ticket holder. It gave me and my family tho opportunity to do something we probably couldn't have done without them. We had a great time. When the nets went up and my view of the ice was screwed up, I was moved to better seats with no problem. I think we are lucky to have a winning team on the ice year after year. Sure, we have our bad streaks, but there aren't many fans of Cincinnati team who can say their team has had a winning record for going on ten years.
Sorry for the book, I just wanted to make my points. As I said, maybe I'm missing something. I just want to see Cyclones hockey continue. |

Because it is sooooo difficult to understand what Wildman is saying, I want to pass on some info. For Season Ticket Holders: All season ticket holders can get comp tickets for a Dayton game on Sunday, March 23. We are also being given comp tickets for a game in Lexington on Friday, March 14th. You must fill out a form and return to the Clones office no later than March 7th. I am not sure if this form is being mailed also. I happened to hear the announcement and stopped at the customer service desk.
