Huge loss for us. He was so good on the point on the pp. Miller could be called up at any time, too. Which leaves us with no one to run the pp. Yuk. The only good news is that Weber is so sharp and connected that he will probably sign someone as good as Howells in the near future. I don't see Schmidt producing much in Milwaulkee (doesn't mean he's not playing well) so he would be a very welcome addition.

Rawlyk, mabey? Or how about Labenski from Dayton? He's very good on the power play and is making way too much money for a team which (in reality) draws worse than us.

I doubt they will sign Rory. He makes too much money and from what I hear he's looking at a different team.

It would be nice tho, because we are slowly losing them all..

howells quitting hurts us big time....he was a skilled d-man and since he was MIL property, he was a lower salary cap number than what a guy of his skill would actually cost us. if we could get MIL to look at rory, then we might be able to afford him.

the timing of howells leaving is terrible, but what's worse, the chances that we can sign someone of similar skill at the same cost is pretty slim.

if he was on a 2 way he probably cost more than he would have if he wasn't

I"ve always been a rawlyk fan so that would be great if he could come back.. They were joking about turning assistant coach Dean into a player.. that would be hilarious

Haha, I never watched Storkalicious play, but from what I hear... let's not. And Schmidt? Grr...

I guess we'll see how it pans out. Gotta do what we gotta do.

the ahl website said add tyler howells recalled from cincinnati. the echl website says tyler howells recalled to milwaukee (its listed under charlotte). was he recalled or did he up and quit.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I didn't hear it but apparently it was said at Monday's Coach's Show that he "quit." Doesn't really matter what you want to officially call it at this point, I don't suppose.

echl salary regulations state that players on 2-way contracts are to be paid $500 per week (at least that's what it said last year). my guess is a guy like rory, who is a similar player, would cost the team more than $500 per week.

It would almost be worth it to have a player like that tho. WE have a strong team already but he might be able to take it to the next level and make us close to unstopable

I meant Howells. There is no way as a rookie he'd be making $500 a week unless he was on a 2-way, otherwise he'd be far below that.

he was recalled to Milwaukee so that they could suspend him. they own his rights, technically.
